Very convenient, expensive, decent option at the Zurich Airport
Pros:

The location is great for early flights.

Cons:

The AC was not working. The room was 28 degrees. The staff was wonderful and really tried to help and brought us fans. But it was just way too hot for sleeping. Switzerland needs to get AC in general.

Worst hotel in years.
Pros:

No AC in our room. Went downstairs, complenied and they sent me a fan!!! And lied saying that it was because the window in the room faced the sun. Lies and lies. In the morning other attendant offered us breakfast to offset the horrible night we had after a long trip. We pay extra to stay near the airport to rest and Hyatt treated us with total disregard, never going back.

Cons:

AC working and employees not lying to your face. A more direct management to oversee all of this. Sending a fan and then offering a breakfast is a total shame for us.

Viel zu heiss, nicht zu empfehlen
Pros:

- sehr nahe beim Flughafen
- sehr nettes Personal

Cons:

- Zimmer haben keine Klimaanlage, nur eine Lüftung
- Es war über 25 Grad die ganze Nacht
- wir konnten nicht richtig schlafen und waren nicht erholt

Great location!
Pros:

1. Loved the fact it was connected to the airport. We saved an hour in the morning which makes a difference if you have a morning flight.
2. Buses, trams & the train all right there and so easily accessible.
3. Room layout was good, comfortable bed & pillows, coffee machine & kettle provided, safe, iron, mini fridge, hairdryer.
4. Nice view of the gardens from the room. However we paid for a higher floor & room with a view.
5. The hotel gave us our room by 12.30 so we could leave outr bags and go out for lunch. We really appreciated that.

Cons:

1. The check-in took a while. One of the staff was on a call for 20 mins while we were just waiting.
2. The air-conditioning in the room was at a set temperature and the controls in the room didn't work! It was extremely hot outside and we were feeling so hot in the room, especially at night. We requested them to either fix the controls or lower the a/c temperature, but to no avail. We felt like they had turned off or turned down the ac's in the night and we felt so hot and really uncomfortable at night.
3. Iron provided but no ironing board. It said the board is under the bed but it was not.
4. No breakfast included even though the room rate is quite high.
5. They added 100CHF/day as a deposit to the total bill - but didn't tell us they would do that - so when my husband saw the billed amount (at check-in) he was alarmed at the difference in price. We actually got into an argument because of that as I was confused too - the price quoted on booking.com didn't include or mention a deposit. Anyway - they refund the deposit when you check out - but before adding it to the total, we felt they should have just informed us.

False claims of having air conditioning. We had to leave door open to get air conditioning from hallway. You have no control of the temperature. Management the control rooms temperatures. This is a 5 STAR hotel?????

Cannibalized by Hyatt Regency Next Door
Pros:

If this was the only hotel in Zurich airport I would be happy with, it is nice new hardware.  But Hyatt is cannibalizing itself: even for 1 night only I would still rather have at least a chance of a suite upgrade at Hyatt Regency next door as Globalist tier guest, rather than have zero chance of suite at Hyatt Place because they don't have any suites.  HR is not much more expensive than HP so I prefer to pay a little extra for HR than HP.  It reminds me a bit of Cairo which is a huge city and Hyatt put both Hyatts in the exact same location.  That's not so useful to me.

For guests who do not have status with Hyatt chain, I guess perhaps HP can be a decent choice instead of HR when travelling solo but then there are also other choices such as the Radissons which can often be cheaper than HP.

Comfortable and clean room that helps me recharge
Pros:

Very clean, providing all that I need in the room. Food was good in the restaurant, staff was pleasant. A very comfortable stay for my transit to Singapore.

Cons:

Price was a little expensive.

My room was an unusual layout with tv next to bed and smelled like plastic. Hair in the shower and stained sheets. Room faced a walled-in courtyard.
