We had a lovely stay at this hotel. Comfortable beds, friendly staff, great location & bonus extras
Pros:

We loved our 5 night stay at Richmond Hotel Premier Kyoto Shijo. We had a large room on the 8th floor with small kitchenette and lounge area. It was great to have the extra space for our longer stay. The beds were super comfortable. The staff were so friendly and helpful. They even made a phone booking for lunch at a teahouse beside a river because we couldn't book online as we didn't have a Japanese address. The guest lounge area over looking the private garden was lovely. We also took advantage of the daily afternoon snacks, afternooon activities (stamp book making, wine tasting and spinning top making), and evening drinks which were all included in the room rate. Easy walk to the train station and bus stop. The tram to Arashiyama area is also close by. Would recommend this hotel

Schönes Hotel in guter Lage.
Pros:

Die Lage, die freundlichen Mitarbeiter und die sauberen Räume. Uns hat alles sehr gut gefallen.
Praktisch: über den Fernseher kann man sehen, wie weit die Waschmaschinen sind.

Brilliant hotel - five star experience.
Pros:

Fabulous location, spacious rooms and additional inclusions like afternoon group activities and complementary social hour. Big supermarket next door and 10 minute walk to Nishiki market.

Wonderful stay, highly recommend
Pros:

Lovely clean hotel with exceptional service. I left my shopping bag on the bus and they were amazing in tracking it down and I was able to recover the bag!
Great lounge and really engaging daily activities available daily which we tried twice on our stay and have two lovely keepsakes from our trip. Highly recommend!
