Taj Lakefront Bhopal

The rooftop bar was closed and this wasn’t advised in advance. For the price of this hotel, the availability of the facilities are woeful. The spa was also fully booked. I would not stay here again

had a horrible experience for my couple of days stay . Listing below fhe issue in detail :

1. Baby crib/cot was broken that was given for my 7 months old . Please note as per my understanding it's hotel staffs duty to provide safe equipment for the guest stay . The crib was broken due to which it wasn't latching and since babies have a tendency to be unpredictable it could have caused a serious injury had I not inspected it before putting the baby in the crib /cot.When i escalated the matter to the managment , there tone was super rude including the HOD House keeping named Mr Hussain . I was super annoyed since its the matter of my kids safety but clearly for them it was a very normal issue and i was creating a scene. I definitely agree that i was loud but I had no option since the staff behavior was very unprofessional as if they were doing us a favor by letting us stay in the hotel .(pics unfortunately not available)

2. We booked 4 meals in the hotel (half board),but unfortunately the food was horrible . There was large price of cauliflower in the Thai curry which fortunately I haven't seen in my travel experience . (Pics attached).

Party going on in the garden then stage being dismantled until 6:45am did not get any sleep, nothing done after 2 complaints, not what I expected from Taj - I won’t be using the cabin again anywhere.

Staff at this location is very well trained, all are willing to out of way to help and assist.

I would like to give special mention to ...

'Stela', host at Machan for her warm care, enchanting smile, attention to details and consistently warm hospitality at all times;

'Paasang', at Jiva Spa is a professional of highest degree, provides a consistent experience, has an excellent knowledge of de-stressing the clients and offering an experience that is relaxing and de-stressing, she never lets her focus down during whole treatment, amazing experience I had.

Taj group of hotels is the best in the world.

Reception staff was very attentive in arranging a Dr for my sickness. Dr was very fast and courteous

Taj Lake Front hotel was an amazing experience, specially there services and staff !! The gentleman at breakfast service Brijesh took care of us like a family, The lady at breakfast check in was very thoughtful, she went out of the way to organized my daughter’s birthday lunch.

Room had a beautiful lake view of my favorite city Bhopal ( where I grew up).
Thank you Taj and it’s staff for making our family trip memorable.

Poor front office cooperation.. Very inflexible policy for changing reservations. I couldn’t cut short my visit and had to pay for entire three days even though I stayed there only for two days.

Great hotel with wonderful lake view rooms. Courteous and friendly staff. Breakfast with huge choice but same choice offered daily.

Comfortable room and pleasant hotel atmosphere. Only poor experience was in the restaurant. They charged me 275Rs for what I asked to be a small about of dahi. Whilst they pointed out they hadn't charged me for the milk I had asked for. What they didn't realise was the milk I used at breakfast but took it to my room the night before to chill it and add chia seeds. I found this rude. Also in the restaurant they do not listen. They say yes yes yes to a request but then bring something you didn't ask for and force chai on you when you don't want it. I was not given information about different dining options in the hotel and when asking about House of ming to see the menu was told it was open. I went, it was not.

It was a great place to stay

The people at the property were polite and always went the extra mile to please. Luxurious layout with all functional mod cons. Great bakery, delicious food at the Machaan. The lake view is a delight. Thanks Team Taj.
