Lá ubicación, aunque en fechas de Domingo de Ramos juega en contra. La oferta gastronómica invita a no salir del hotel!
Los alrededores: a un par de cuadras hay barrios que requieren permanente y excesiva vigilancia policial. Se les cayó el sistema durante 48 hs: sin internet, sin TV, sin teléfono de habitaciones. Hay una sola entrada al Casco Viejo y una sola salida: los traslados son infinitos

It was wonderful- nothing not to like.
We really enjoyed the location and the breakfast. We loved the welcome tour and the courtyard.
This is a truly beautiful hotel inside out. The three different wings (French, Spanish and American) nicely tie to the history of Panama. We loved our room in the French wing and the courtyard views. But we had mixed feelings due to some issues we experienced.
Our stay at the hotel didn’t start off well.
1) We arrived relatively close to the check in time and were asked to wait to have the room ready, which is understandable. We came back at the time they told us the room would be ready, but it wasn’t as it needed to be inspected by someone and we would be informed about when it was ready (10-15 min). 15 min pass by and no one comes to us. We went to the reception and the room had been ready all this time, but no one bothered to tell us. For a 5* hotel, the receptionists were too lackadaisical and left us feel ignored.
2) Once we entered the room, we noticed the toilet seat was falling off. How was the room inspected if this was missed?
3) Cleaning lady left her sponge and cleaning supplies in the sink.
4) Two receptionists is not enough to handle guests during busy season.
5) The fact they host weddings. Not only the price for our room for that night skyrocketed, but we also could not relax in the evening because of how loud the music was (the wedding was adjacent to the courtyard). They cut the music around 23:00-00:00.
6) Slow service during breakfast/dinner at Santuario. Drinks take up to 15 min to be served.
