Palácio Ludovice Wine Experience Hotel

We were booked for 3 nights. Awful treatment. We stopped in the bar to get 2 glasses of wine on the way to our room after a long day of sightseeing. We had just purchased pastries at the bakery beside the hotel. While we were waiting for our drinks that we ordered we were trying out pastries. 20 minutes later the bartender came and told us that he refused to serve us since we brought food in to the bar. Food. Into the bar. At a hotel that we paid 2000$ for 3 nights. Not a nibble of next day croissant as we waited 20 minutes for 2 glasses of wine AT THE BAR OF THE HOTEL WHERD WE WERE GUESTS!!!! We had 2 croissants that we were barely taste testing !!!! At our own hotel!!!! In our bar!!!!!!! Waiting 20 minutes for 2 glasses of damn wine to take up to OUR room in THE HOTEL WE PAID FOR!!!! Decided wine because we were laughing and nibbling a croissant from a bag?!!!

This is a very classic continental breakfast offering.

We went for our 10 year wedding anniversary and had a very memorable time. The staff were splendid by providing city recommendations, recognizing our anniversary and giving us a room upgrade, and making sure we were comfortable.

The rooms were clean and picturesque, the dining room for breakfast was immaculate, and the hotel was in a really fun area where there were many local restaurants and bars that catered to less of a tourist crowd, which we were drawn to. The architecture and history of the hotel is an attraction on its own.

Definitely recommend and we will definitely stop by again when we visit Portugal.

I want to thank Miguel for trying to correct the mistake Booking made. Booking charged me for a bigger room although they booked the standard one. The staff was very nice about it, accomodating me in a nicer room, even if it wasn't the hotel's fault.

We have stayed here before and it is a special place to spend time in Lisbon. Staff is always friendly and welcoming.

Following a cross-Atlantic cruise, we booked two nights at this hotel and adored it. It's a wonderful blend of history and modern service. Breakfasts and dinners were great. Free wine tasting a real treat as was surprise treats in the room. My room (315) was spacious and elegant. Take the tour to see the chapel hidden within and to understand the building's history. This hotel will be my go-to choice in Lisbon. Memorable and high value in a great location for shopping and dining.

We loved the decor and the breakfast was exceptional

Every other day they would leave us some treats in the room, like custard pies or macarons. It was very kind and thoughtful.

We loved this hotel! The location was perfect for exploring Lisbon with shops and restaurants right outside the door and amazing views of the city.

Our deluxe room was stunning and the overall hotel design was calming and lovely. Breakfast was excellent with amazing pastries and our evening treats were so unique and good!

The service was some of the best I have experienced with a young team eager to share their favorite recommendations. Maria at the front desk gave us the best dinner recommendations and the other front desk employees were also so helpful and responsive.

I would not hesitate to stay here again and hope to soon!
