Honestly, this place looks better in real life than in the pictures. You get a great, well furnished, small room, with good quality bedding, perfectly fine bathroom. There is everything you might need. The staff in the check-in desk were kind and gave me extra tea packets as I was feeling sick, I also kindly borrowed an umbrella from the staff member for a day. It's definitely a great choice and great value for money in this area. I walked both to Istanbul Modern and also to the other part of the city via Galata bridge, perfect location for those who like to explore the town by foot and just wander around. The windows of the room also open quite wide if you prefer to air out the room with some fresh air.

Özgür, the receptionist, was extremely helpful and friendly. He made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The rest of the staff were also warm.

The hotel was very comfortable, and everything was well organized. I will truly miss the coffee! It was so good!

I will definitely book again on my next visit. 😊

Location was great! I was worried about the room size but it was perfectly reasonable for two people!

I almost hate to say how much I like this hotel after 5 stays. I want to be able to book again, but they deserve to be full all the time. I will have to take my chances.

Il personale è davvero gentile e disponibile. Sicuramente, se torneremo a Istanbul, sceglieremo ancora questo hotel.
La posizione è perfetta: il centro di Karaköy è a pochissimi passi e si può facilmente girare a piedi, anche per raggiungere Piazza Taksim.
Le stanze sono meravigliose, di lusso, ben organizzate, pulite e curate nei minimi dettagli.

Our stay at Fama Karaköy was a very pleasant experience. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and professional, and they were always willing to assist us with anything we needed.
Special thanks to Ms. Hatice, who prepared a fresh and complete breakfast every morning. She was very kind, attentive, and welcoming.
The hotel’s location is excellent, with easy access to many important areas of the city. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Wirklich sehr nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal. Wir hatten kein Frühstück gebucht, aber stets Cay und hausgemachte türkische Delikatessen geschenkt bekommen. Der Flughafentransfer wurde für uns organisiert, kam aber erst nachdem die reguläre Check-out Zeit vorüber war, uns wurde direkt angeboten, dass wir auch noch länger bis zur Abholung im Zimmer bleiben können (late Check out). Das gebuchte Frühstück, das andere Gäste hatten, sah sehr gut und umfangreich aus. Die Lage ist perfekt für alle Sehenswürdigkeiten. Die Zimmer sind zwar recht klein, dafür aber hochwertig ausgestattet und sauber. Sehr hochwertige Seife und Duschgel. Guter Wasserdruck und Temperatur.

J’ai adoré l’emplacement mais surtout le personnel qui était adorable, chaleureux et la petite attention pour le nouvel an qui était adorable. La chambre était nickel et faite proprement tous les jours
