Pool/ restaurant area felt tired and in need of a refresh/ repaint. Fungus growing on the sun beds.

Das Hotel gibt sich insgesamt einen sehr exklusiven Anschein – bereits am Eingang fallen hohe Preise auf, etwa für Spa-Leistungen oder Massagen, die aus unserer Sicht deutlich überzogen wirken und vermutlich vor allem den exklusiven Charakter unterstreichen sollen.

Die Anlage selbst ist gepflegt und schön gestaltet, die Zimmer wirken auf den ersten Blick ebenfalls ansprechend. Allerdings gab es bei uns deutliche Mängel: In einem Zimmer ließ sich die Balkontür nicht schließen, trotz Hinweis an das Personal wurde das Problem nicht behoben. In einem anderen Zimmer tropfte die Klimaanlage stark von der Decke, sodass sich morgens eine große Pfütze im Zimmer gebildet hat. Die Reaktion darauf beschränkte sich darauf, Handtücher auszulegen – aus unserer Sicht wäre es angemessen gewesen, ein anderes Zimmer anzubieten, zumal die Anlage nur gering ausgelastet war.

Das Frühstück war qualitativ gut, allerdings nicht besonders reichhaltig. Gerade in dieser Preisklasse ist es überraschend, dass Extras wie ein Cappuccino zusätzlich berechnet werden. Auch der inkludierte Orangensaft war stark verdünnt und qualitativ enttäuschend – in Mexiko sind wir eigentlich frische, hochwertige Säfte gewohnt, was hier leider nicht der Fall war.

Insgesamt hinterlässt das Hotel den Eindruck, an vielen Stellen zusätzliche Einnahmen generieren zu wollen, ohne dass die entsprechende Leistung dahintersteht

El servicio de desayuno fue pésimo, moscas, tardaron una hora en tomarnos la orden, a las 10 pm ya no hay servicio de cocina, te respondían tarde el chat porque no hay extensión directa al área de recepción

El desuyo mucho que desear, además del servicio muy lento. La lejanía del bullicio del centro de la isla parecía tener un plus, sin embargo se volvió un elemento de gasto, ya que como no hay nada a los alrededores, para todo hay que esta contratando taxis nada baratos.

Breakfast wasn’t great - didn’t like the presentation and didn’t match the type of place they want to be. Breakfast food wasn’t very good either. Didn’t eat anything else whilst we stayed there.

We changed rooms halfway through as there was a strange noise (probably water pipes) that was especially noticeable in the night and the connecting door in the room was so thin, you could hear everything from the room next door. It was super noisy - make sure to get a room without. The second room was great.

I liked it being further away from the town but if you don’t intend to rent bikes or something else to get around it can be a bit of a trek to get anywhere.

Le restaurant n’est pas au standing de l'hôtel. Peu de choix et service trop lent.
La pression de la douche était trop faible.
La douche mettait 10 minutes pour chauffer.
Le personnel était sympathique mais pas très professionnel comme pour un hôtel de ce standing. Plusieurs fois nous avons appelé à la réception via la chambre sans avoir de réponse au téléphone.
La climatisation faisait du bruit à certains moments.
