The hotel cancelled my reservation as I was sitting in my truck in their parking lot, 38 minutes before check-in at 2pm. I will copy paste the message below. Also I have called expedite no less than five times trying to get my money refunded. And I am still trying. So DO NOT go to this hotel. And it might also be a good idea to not use this app.
Hi there, the Love Hotels Tomahawk just closed a moment ago. We apologize for the inconvenience; your reservation has been canceled and a refund will be issued. Thank you, and have a great day.
Felt more like visiting my grandma's than a hotel. Will definitely stay here again if I'm back in the area. Great value for the money.
The pictures on the listing are very deceiving. The curtains were falling off, shower was missing the hot water knob, no blankets only sheets, and the room was dark and dirty. We had to wait two hours to check in because they just reopened that day after a health inspection. When we returned the room still needed towels and pillows. We walked in the room, looked around and canceled because it was gross and did not feel safe.
The main office was locked when we arrived. The manager was sitting at a campfire in the middle of the parking lot. Was very rude the whole encounter. He did not accept what Expedia offered for the price of the room and charged an extra $110 for the room for a total of $219 for a $50 room. Wall paneling, nails and debris in middle of parking lot. The room had a sticky floor no blanket, just a plastic top sheet. We ask for a blanket, he says to turn the heater on. Eventually we get a blanket with yellow stains all over it. Disgusting, we didn't use it. Tape over a crack on the shower floor, garbage was left in the room, exhaust fan in bathroom was stained and disgusting. Plaster on floor. Television couldn't get any stations, no continental breakfast. Etc.
When we checked in, I was told that my reservation was canceled but we received no notice from Expedia that it had. Luckily, they found us a room. They had a different booking number than I had.
I don't know what to say. I call the day before to make sure all is well. We get there an wr have no room!!! They said it was over booked!!!? That sure F____ up are vacation plans. So now you think we can trust you for a vacation stay again!!!
The hotel is condemned and closed
Went to check in at 11pm and the place was closed up! Not open for business but sure didnt have an issue taking my money! We will see if we get a refund!
***BEWARE***When we checked in we noticed that the room smelled. When we checked under the sheets we found that the beds and carpet were both stained with bodily fluids. We went to the front desk and told them we decided not to stay. He told us to leave the door open and the keys in the room. Now they are refusing to refund us for our nights stay.
Clean and friendly staff
I liked the location
The first room we were placed in wasn’t clean
shower knobs were not secured, Dirty and dated. Pillows were uncomfortable. Took almost an hour to check in as the people in front of us were waiting for keys to their room that the host could not find. My bathroom hand towel was a cut up towel. They jacked the price up for the even we were at. Good location but grossly overpriced.
The hotel is in need of major updates and overall cleaning. The entrance door has major gaps arthe door frame. You can see the light from the outside when you're inside. Very poor lighting in the room. The bathroom door doesn't open all the way. The door is lose from the frame. The carpet is absolutely dirty and feels damp. Didn't want to walk barefoot on it.
I was charged iver $500 for two nights due to motorcycle rally that was going on in town with thousands of bikers. I attended the rally myself as a biker. Price gouged and no where near worth it. All lodging was booked, so I had no choice but to keep the room as I traveled quite a ways. The best way to describe the building and property is "run down". It needs immediate renovations.
No breakfast or coffee.
Clean, change towels and sheets regularly.
This was a horrible place. The rooms stunk. The floor was soft and soggy. The bathroom floor was so soft that my foot visibly sunk down. My wife had an asthma attack within 3 minutes of entering the room.
We ended up not staying there and finding another place. I don’t know how this place is allowed to stay open to people.
