Needs maintenance which is underway
The atmosphere was serene. It would make a great place for a wedding. Good food and very friendly staff. No complaints from us.

The facility's HVAC SYSTEM was out, and had been for weeks - no heat. Only occupied rooms had an electric radiator-style space heater. The halls & common rooms were cold with night temps in the 30s. I feel they should've communicated that when or after I booked the place. They did give me a credit.

Beautiful setting with a gorgeous lakes, trees, trails and serenity. The history of the facility is very interesting. The classic architecture was a very pleasant suprise.
We were only there 1 night. We needed more time to hike and explore.

It was a pretty area and fairly close to Hendersonville
No TV in the room, the bed was very hard and despite being at the breakfast buffet when it opened, all of the food was very cold.

Some attention to small detail repairs etc are missed, but the beauty of the location far outshine those small details.

The most beautiful location with beautiful views of the lake. Breakfast included. Lunch and dinner available with limited hours for purchase. Nice playground for small children. Tennis court, basketball court and indoor gym available for use. Highly recommend. Just be careful because the AC unit is high on the wall and will leak onto the ground and soak your belongings if you leave them on the floor!
Room was damp and musky smell was very strong.
The property caters more as a Christian retreat for groups. I stayed for one night while on a business trip and was a bit surprised since there were no indicators in the description, but it was not a deal breaker since they state they are open to everyone in their website.
Pros: beautiful surroundings, great breakfast and plenty of parking space.
Cons: was not informed of the one night stay fee and dinner schedule when checking in (I missed dinner), room smelled and was dirty with mold in the shower (handicapped chair in the shower was not spared), walls are paper thin, floors were sticky and there were holes on the wall from the a/c installation. The inn clearly has potential, but it needs some work.
