New, quiet area, clean
Breakfast bananas were rotten as were the oranges; and the attendant said that’s all they had and no new produce delivered until 5 days after our stay. How can you put out bad fruit when it’s the only healthy thing about breakfast??? Bad coffee as well.
Breakfast was very nice.
My stay was very nice.
Nice selection
The breakfast was great. Nice fluffy eggs, meat item, fruit. Plenty of bath towels.
The work in the bathroom(room 311) was poor. There were bubbles in the wallpaper at the corners. The vinyl flooring had no caulking along the shower. You could see it kind of buckling from the moisture. The shower door was not clean. It look like they just smeared a rag to clean it and you could see the smear. Hooks on the back of the doors would have been nice. There was no where to hang any robe or clothing. I would have put a hand towel holder in the wall by the sink. Caulking was messy.
The mattress was kind of soft.
We loved it. The large parking lot was clean and had plenty of space to park our large travel van. The building is beautiful with a large patio, good-sized fire pit, comfortable patio furniture, and two fancy grills. Inside was large with lots of places to sit to eat or visit, with several options. We liked the bar room style. The check-in girl was super nice and friendly, knew her job well, and we enjoyed her nice conversation. Our room was great. Comfy bed, nicely decorated with plenty of lights, towels, kitchen stuff, and desk area. The breakfast was THE BOMB. Loved the food and choices. We didn't use the gym or pool, but both looked really nice. It was a perfect stay. I can't think of anything that could have made it better. My cousin, who lives there in town, recommended it.
Zero. I have nothing to say. It was great, I'll stay there again every time I come to town.
The hotel is ok, but too expensive for what it is.
The photographs and the description of the room were completely deceiving. The photos make it look like the “kind size studio” is ,well, a studio with a separate area with a sofa bed, and a king size bed. In reality, the bed is a queen size bed, the room is tiny and the little sofa barely fits in the room. Since I was traveling with a friend, I called days before my stay to have the sofa bed made in the (nonexistent) “separate room”, and the sofa bed was not made the first night. One of us had to sleep on the tiny, extremely uncomfortable sofa. They made the sofa bed the second night, and we were not able to walk in the room. That’s how small it was. The breakfast was really bad too. Frozen bagels, a yoghurt that tasted like chemicals and a waffle that was impossible to eat.
Traveling on New Years Eve to this small town, we were simplying trying to find a mid point before arriving back home in SF. The hotel staff were very friendly. In the morning we were a bit late for the breakfast, but the host Melissa went out of her way making extra eggs for us. As we started eating, she probided what she could for another couple even though everything was already closed out. This is what I called small town charm! Personal touch is hard to find these days but we had a wonderful start on this new years day thanks for the wonderful experiences from the staff.
Very nice and quiet
I didn’t get room cleaned each day or even fresh towels. After 3 days I asked for it
Amazing breakfast and I appreciated the gluten free options. The kitchenette was a bonus and stocked with all the necessities.
I would have liked a hot tub
The place is modern and clean. Beds are very comfortable. They allow pets (though it’s quite pricey at $75 per pet!). The breakfast was hot and offered a nice variety. The staff is very friendly, especially Melissa from the kitchen!
Staff is very nice, Melissa in particular. Volunteered on Christmas to work, and treated us with extreme kindness. 100% would stay again.
The customer service is phenomenal. Everyone was very kind, patient, and welcoming. They were already there before you knew you were confused.
The staff here is amazing, helpful, and always smiling. The breakfast is great with awesome and strong coffee that is always hot and ready for everyone. The rooms are very nice and comfortable and the room servicing team does a fantastic job especially with visitors with pets. I would recommend this location to anyone staying in Tehachapi and will very likely be back!
Friendly staff, clean facility. Wonderful people.
Melissa is absolutely wonderful with all the customers. Sweet demeanor with friendly smile for everyone.
