Overall, a very comfortable stay with only minor issues to overcome to make it excellent.
Pros:

The room was very clean and modern.
The double bed was very comfortable and I had a great night sleep.
Easy location to get too and easy access to Cambridge & surrounding areas.
Plenty of parking at the hotel and the spaces are big enough for the modern car.
Staff were friendly and welcoming overall.
The internet was great, no buffering at all, even whilst watching Netflix on my laptop.
Evening meal was well cooked albeit the selection is basic and minimal. However, the location means easy walks to local shops and restaurants if you wish to venture out.

Cons:

The bottom of the shower door leaks, this leads to the bathroom floor being soaked even if you place the floor matt there. This has happened on previous stays as well so needs looking at, some are missing the seal on the bottom of the shower door.
The breakfast isn't great compared to many other hotels that I have stayed in. It obviously gets cooked early and left on the hot plate ready for the self service buffet. This dries out the bacon and sausages plus makes the hash browns soggy. If you are happy with continental or scrambled egg on toast then all good. In summary it feels like a very budget controlled breakfast.

Pros:

Convenient for our visit to an anniversary party. Staff were exceptionally welcoming and let us have our room early as party started at 12 and we could freshen up.
