Pros:

This property was disappointing. We stayed in 3 different rooms in 2 nights. Room 724 had limited lighting and was dark. The AIRCon was broken and there were no USB outlets, so this was difficult for us as foreigners as we had no 220 plugs. We were eventually moved to another executive suite that was a huge improvement, but it definitely complicated our stay at a time when I was feeling ill. We also expected the 11 minute walk to the waterfront area, but it was more like 25 minutes and not an easy walk. Hopefully management will improve some of he executive suites so that others do not have the same experience.

The staff at this hotel are excellent. From Hotel Ops to the F&B team. Subisiswe (Guest relations mgr) , Allistair and Atwell (F&B) and Amelia (front desk) were standouts

Solo-friendly hotel!
Pros:

Staff is super welcoming & resourceful, Rooms very modern, breakfast had good options. The Bars both on the main floor & rooftop were a vibe & easy to mix/mingle with others. I felt comfortable staying here solo, even extended my stay!

Modern hotel let down by poor service standards
Pros:

This hotel has a serious problem with staff culture. We encountered numerous problems with staff service levels during our short stay. From staff arguments taking place in front of guests, to being ignored at by both check-in and breakfast staff, to sloppy bartenders and waiters, to the way in which staff address guests. It is clear that staff have not received adequate training and management have failed to inspire staff to perform at their best. We will not be returning to this hotel, which is a shame because this hotel, given the facilities and amenties on offer, has the very real potential to be a premium 4-star property.

Best in Cape Town, so far.
Pros:

A great hotel in lower downtown closish to the V&A waterfront. The quality was far better than any we had stayed at before in CT and at a great price. I highly recomment this property.

The hotel is spectacular and the staff are amazing. A huge well equipped gym, secure underground parking, amazing breakfast, nice roof top bar and pool, smart comfortable rooms. The only downside is the hotel is in town I’m not such a nice area. The area around the hotel doesn’t look nice. This isn’t a problem though as you would just drive or get an Uber where ever you want to go. You wouldn’t want to walk around outside the hotel, especially at night. I highly recommend the hotel. You get much better value staying there than some of the over priced hotels where you are mainly paying for the view. I will stay there again on future visits for sure.
