A very comfortable hotel, in an ideal location and the staff were great.
Pros:

Ideal location, we had a water view room and could sit in bed first thing with a coffee and watch the boats coming in and out.
The staff were very attentive. Everyone greeted us when we passed in the corridors.
It was my birthday during our stay and they went out of the way to say Happy Birthday.

Cons:

As coffee drinkers we could do with more than 4 capsules a day.
The pillows were very large and too firm.

Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful visit.
Pros:

The Tasman is a gorgeous hotel to visit. This was my third visit and it was excellent.
The staff are very attentive and willing to assist.
We had everything we needed.
Ideal location if wanting to enjoy time near the piers, Salamanca and surrounding areas.

All round - an excellent hotel.

Great place to chill and enjoy all that Hobart has to offer
Pros:

Location fantastic - great view of the harbour from the 7th floor. Staff very pleasant and helpful.

Cons:

The bar (forget its name) looks lovely, but service a little lacking. And everything closes so early, but that seems to be Tasmania generally
