Relaxing, fun , serene and peaceful.
Pros:

The location was fantastic close to everything. The Tasman is a great mix of new and old architecture and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Location is excellent. The variety of the facilities ie from the historic and character filled bar area of Mary Mary to the casual lounge ideal for coffee and then the upmarket restaurant of Peppina all high quality

Cons:

The valet service . I had a manual vehicle and they didn’t have a driver with a manual license hence delay in retrieving my vehicles. I had to do it myself which was fine

Everything you could want right in the heart of Hobart.
Pros:

We loved staying at The Tasman. Beautifully appointed hotel with amazing views of Hobart and beyond. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Lovely restful and luxurious beautiful property great city
Pros:

Very special property very luxurious great location not on the water but just steps away near the Salamanca markets and city centre. Rooms are beautiful and good size restaurants are also good

Cons:

The front heritage windows need to be double glazed the Saturday night was noisy due to cars carrying on. No pool also didn’t like they place a hold for full accommodation on your visa then recharge when checking out so you have to wait for the first charge to drop off which can take days

An enjoyable stay in Hobart.
Pros:

It was very central and easy to walk everywhere. The valet parking was convenient. Staff were lovely. We enjoyed being on the 7th floor and being able to see over the city. We also liked the Mary Mary bar.

Cons:

The room itself was smaller than expected. We would like to have had an armchair or couch to sit in to relax.

A really excellent an well located hotel which we cannot recommend too highly.
Pros:

The location was very central and close to all the main attractions in Hobart, including Salamanca Market and the ferry to MONA. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was large, attractive, clean and catered to all our needs.

A great hotel only steps from the harbour front. Loved the Mary Mary cocktail bar and breakfast was fabulous
Pros:

It is in a great location and our room had lovely views. I like the way they have blended the old and new parts of the building

Cons:

I was surprised that there wasn’t a full evening turn down service. The curtains were closed and the bed blanket removed but the bed wasn’t neatened nor fresh towels left.
