Lamphu House Bangkok

Staff is very helpful. Amenities are very good. Bed and AC were awesome. Toilets n Bathrooms were clean. Rooms are good size. So definitely a great backpacking location in Kahosan
Near Phra Athit for blue boats on the river.

Lamphu was set back from the main road down an alleyway that opened up to a lush garden area and the dining area. The place was a little like a hostel, but had a wide range of age groups staying there. I don't know if there were any shared rooms as the place was very large with four floors. The room was basic, but clean. The AC worked great and was a relief after the heat and humidity of the city. The bathroom is a wet bathroom and the floors can get very slippery. The location was very good, with lots of restaurants, bars and shops around. There was a money exchange at the end of the road that had pretty good rates. The breakfast was good, but we did not have any other meals while there. It was a quick walk to Khao San road and to many other attractions. Some of the rooms have balconies, but ours did not. When it rains, the frogs behind the hotel go crazy. At first it drove me a little crazy, but I got used to it. I missed it a little when it didn't rain. All in all it was a good place for the price and location.

La struttura non rappresenta assolutamente le foto sul sito, attraverso le luci sono riusciti a rendere l hotel bello, wuando in realta si trova in una zona brutta, con cattivi odori, e sia l esterno che la nostra camera erano completamemte differenti rispetto alle foto mostrate,non lo consiglio

What i like was a real wooden bed with full mattress looked charming What was sad was totally different bed comfortable but room very small we okay for 1 day but be tough too long

We had an enjoyable stay at Lamphu House! The AC worked very well, which we were very thankful for in Bangkok. Location is great: the hostel is on a tourist street with lots of street vendors and great restaurants and within walking distance to the Grand Palace. Only 2 things preventing a 5 star review: 1.) walking up 3 flights of stairs to our room and 2.) our bed was very very hard. Otherwise, a nice stay! :)

Surprisingly quiet. Good night of sleep right in the middle of everything.

Excellent location and friendly helpful staff. Right in the heart of it yet guesthouse was quiet. Good selection for breakfast. Had great 2 night stay.

Bien situé. Jolie cour intérieure. Service top. Petit dejeuner européen . Matelas dans la chambre ferme. Chambre familiale agreable avec jolie vue sur les toits d'un temple.

Great spot to get away from the madness of khao san rd ,with their tucked away court yard

Simple but nice room. Very comfy pillows. Close to the action but tucked away in a quiet and serene spot. They also have a cafe with good food and coffee and a courtyard to relax in.

This place just keeps getting better and better. Excellent value in a quiet cul de sac. Helpful staff, good food, good facilities.

Such a lovely place to stay and amazing location - just out of the way of the loud hustle and bustle but all within a few minutes walking distance. Would definitely stay again!

The property was not 5 star but we didn't expect it to be. What it was is clean, quiet and close to restaurants shops and night entertainment. Great location great quality for the money.
