Not a memorable hotel experience
Pros:

Not the best experience! No baggage storage as we couldn’t check in for a few hours , was told to use a storage facility away from hotel , not what we wanted to do after a long haul flight , plus with the homeless walking around there drug users sat in a car outside, took a few phone calls to even find our booking, that was 2 weeks ago and still waiting in my deposit back ! No happy at all and I’d recommend stay somewhere else including the area !

Pros:

I absolutely love this stay! Close to shops and attractions. Plenty of ways to get around , buses, bikes and ride share . I would use lift , uber is more pricy. Cute apartment type stay , loft . Bed was comfortable. My only complaint was the sky lights right over the bed. I'm on vacation lol would have been nice to sleep in. Not that big of a deal , you will need eye mask. Safe area.

Pros:

Fantastic place to stay in a beautiful neighborhood. The rooms have everything you would need including laundry. It’s close to Golden Gate Park which was great for our team working at Outside Lands. We’ll be back!

Great amenities and good location
Pros:

The location is great, but very expensive. We like having a kitchen and laundry facility.
There is no fan provided, so be prepared in warmer months. The bathroom door is frosted glass and does not reach the ceiling.

Absolutely will stay again.
Pros:

Súper confortable bed, full-size fridge, most anything you need for a more homey experience - including welcoming your dog. Seamless reservation process. Convenient key-free access. I will absolutely stay at Kasa’s Addison and investigate other Kasa locations.

Terrible
Pros:

AVOID! We have encountered several significant issues that have greatly impacted our stay:

- **Cleanliness**: Upon arrival, we found towels with visible hairs (a lot) and disturbing amounts of hair and debris inside the washing machine. Additionally, dust was present on the floors, creating an uncomfortable environment.
- **Bathroom Privacy**: The bathroom is situated directly opposite the kitchen and dining area without a fully closing door, which lacks the necessary privacy for guests. This arrangement is far from what we anticipated for our stay (I.e., someone using the toilet, whilst eating right outside - awful layout).
- **Disruptive Wi-Fi Device**: The Wi-Fi device emits a constant flashing light right next to the bed (genuinely right next to the bed), disrupting our ability to rest peacefully through the night.
- **Noise Disturbance**: The walls are alarmingly thin, resulting in constant noise from neighboring units. We have struggled to sleep due to the disturbances from both sides and above.
- **Lack of Privacy with Blinds**: We faced a significant lack of privacy as we were unable to open the blinds for natural light, as they faced directly into another residence. This situation considerably hindered our overall comfort during our stay.
- **Subpar Customer Service**: The customer service is outsourced to a team in the Philippines, which has proven to be unresponsive. When they do reply, their responses often feel scripted and provide little genuine assistance, further exacerbating our frustration.
- **Refusal to Refund and Allow Check-Out**: Despite the numerous issues encountered, our request for a refund and permission to check out was denied, leaving us with no option but to endure an unpleasant experience.

Pros:

The walls were paper thin, I could hear people speaking in the next room. Very noisy. No TV service on regular channels - you had to have had a streaming service account. At check out, you had to take your own garbage/ recycling outside to the bins in the backyard.

Clean, comfortable and quiet
Pros:

The apartment was perfect for our stay. Very comfortable, clean and quiet. The kitchen was well stocked although we only used for coffee and toast. There is a large closet with plenty of room for hanging clothes and storing suitcases. Great location. Easy and clear communication. Would definitely go back.

Pros:

Although it seems like a very nice 4 star facility, there are 2 extreme issues why I only gave it a 1 star overall rating. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I wondered why they had earplugs in the room, then at 4 am I was woken up by the person in the unit next to me snoring. Also, there is no way to secure the door from the inside, except for the key code lock that you use to enter the unit. Find somewhere else to stay.

Amazing location and cozy stay
Pros:

Place was so nice and clean we were so happy to stay at Kasa. The only little thing we had a problem with was bathroom. It was kinda small and sink was too low and small. Other than that this place was super nice. The location was amazing, everything was so close we walked every day to get our food and explore. I would definitely recommend this place and if we ever decide to come back to San Francisco this will be our stay place!!

My Go-To Choice of Accommodation in SF
Pros:

Kasa is my go-to accommodation whenever I'm in San Francisco. I have extremely high standards in terms of cleanliness, safety, comfort, and convenience, and Kasa The Addison delivers on all these requirements time and time again. It's nestled in one of the safest and most convenient neighborhoods in the city (I appreciate how quiet it is during bedtime). The convenience of having a fully-furnished apartment complete with a washer and kitchenette can't be overstated and makes it feel like a home away from home. Superb management who are responsive and very accommodating. Can't recommend Kasa enough.

Relieved to be out
Pros:

Our two week stay felt like months and I feel strongly enough to share the experience so that others looking for short-term (but longer than a hotel) accom in SF can decide wisely about this property.

The nice website, smooth booking and modern "no-contact" check-in service experience was attractive to us and the price point for a location in Pac Heights sealed the deal. Unfortunately our hearts sank when we entered the room and continued to sink throughout the stay. Here are the issues we encountered...

The room had one usable window and it looked directly into a grey wall about 2 feet away. It was not possible to know whether it was sunny or wet outside. (The second small window looked directly into the neighboring room, so blinds remained closed until I purchased a temporary adhesive frosted film so it could let some more marginal light into the gloomy den).

The bathroom has half a door. A semi-opaque glass door. A glass door that doesn't close properly. Basically every toilet activity is a group activity.

The toilet is the shower is the toilet. If you shower, the entire bathroom (closet sized) floor remains wet for hours. Then this water gets dirty and moves through the apartment. We purchased an elevated bamboo foot towel, which needs to be standard with the room to alleviate some of the design deficiency here.

The room was the noisiest I have been in, shockingly so. You can hear and understand your neighbors even if they are just talking, straight through the walls. Overhead noise is terrible. Corridor noise is made worse because the room door itself is not hung straight and sound and light enter freely from the corridor.

The touch pads on the doors sort-of work, after a lot of tapping randomly, and eventually the screen responds. Low quality.

The bed was criminal. It squeaked with every movement. The bedding was 100% polyester and, upon contact with skin, instantly starts to sweat. We ended up washing bedding most days just to try and stay on top of this, but simply unacceptable to put such rubbish on a bed.

No A/C or air ventilation. The room was always stuffy and stagnant, even with the window open. It stayed around 73 all the time.

When toilet paper ran out, it could not be replaced by Kasa - we had to source our own.

Internet was patchy - video calls from the room would break up a lot.

Now, having been very critical overall, I do recognize that the tiny space was furnished thoughtfully and space efficiency gained in some innovative ways. I kept saying "it's like Tokyo" as a coping mechanism.

Location is awesome - so much within walking distance - shops, food, parks, views. Brilliant.

But overall, this is a massive miss and simply not fit for purpose. Needs a complete rethink.
