Pros:

The breakfast is phenomenal. The pool and staff were all amazing. The rooms themselves are amazing.

This was a perfect relaxing version of tirana after already spending a day In the city and a 3 day hiking trip in the North. Highly recommend if you're coming to tirana and want a few days to chill by the pool.

Cons:

This would have been 10/10, I gave minus one as the indoor spa and wellness facilities were out of order and j was really looking forward to using them. Other than that everything was amazing

Excellent Staff and Rooms, but Premium Hotels Are Built on Details
Pros:

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Radisson Collection Morina Hotel Tirana. We have visited Tirana several times, but this was our first stay at this property.

The highlights of our visit were numerous. The staff were outstanding—professional, responsive, welcoming, and fluent in English. The rooms were excellent, comfortable, and very well maintained. We experienced a minor issue with our shower during our stay, and the technical staff resolved it quickly and efficiently.

We would also like to recognize Andriana in the breakfast area for her exceptional service. She was consistently warm, attentive, and professional, and her hospitality made each morning a pleasure. She is an excellent representative of the hotel and deserves special recognition.

There were, however, several concerns.

On one weekend evening, loud music from what appeared to be a party on an upper floor significantly disrupted our sleep. The bass, drums, and dance music were clearly audible in our room. After our first call to the front desk, we were told the event would end around 11:00–11:30 p.m. When the music was still ongoing at 11:40 p.m., we called again and were told it would stop by midnight, which it did. While this occurred on only one night of our stay, guests paying premium rates reasonably expect to be able to rest without interruption. The volume and duration of the noise made the evening unnecessarily stressful.

Although the hotel is non-smoking, smoking was common in the outdoor dining areas, including the breakfast terrace. For guests with smoke sensitivities or allergies, this made outdoor dining difficult. We would encourage the hotel to consider creating a separate outdoor smoking section so that non-smoking guests can enjoy breakfast without exposure to cigarette smoke.

The fitness area was another disappointment. During our stay, the recumbent bicycle was out of service, and one of the exercise machines had broken cables. Not only was the machine unusable, but the damaged cables also raised concerns about guest safety. More broadly, the fitness equipment appeared dated and heavily worn, which was surprising given the hotel's otherwise upscale positioning. For a property operating at this price point, guests reasonably expect fitness facilities that are modern, well-maintained, and fully functional.

Housekeeping was generally good, but there were noticeable inconsistencies. On different days, some towels were not replaced, mirrors were left uncleaned, and on two occasions housekeeping items such as cleaning cloths and paperwork were left in the room after service.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay and were impressed by the staff, the quality of the rooms, and the hotel's atmosphere. However, at this price point, attention to detail matters. We would certainly consider returning if these issues were addressed, but for our next visit to Tirana we will likely explore other options.

Enjoyable stay but frustrating start!
Pros:

We were travelling to Tirana for a few nights stay for a Birthday celebration and had booked this trip late last year. We arrived and attempted to check-in, we advised the receptionist of this and she advised us that she had just been discussing our reservation as she was not sure we would be happy with the rooms we had booked. We were a little confused and taken aback as we did not understand what the issue was, it was being explained to me that I had booked a room that is usually for 1 guest but had booked 2 guests for a tiny room. I double checked my reservation as I was concerned I had made an error and I had not, I had booked a 'Collection Premium Room - Lake view'. She decided to take us to the room to decide if the room was acceptable, I found this all quite strange and didn't understand what the issue was. The room was fine and more than big enough for 2 guests. The receptionist advised me that the room in question was their 'Collection Room - Lake View', I then queried this against my booking as I had booked a premium room, the receptionist then informed me that I was wrong and such a room did not exist?! I then showed her the booking email, to which she took photo's of to show her manager as apparently, what I booked did not exist. I queried what other alternative rooms she had to solve this issue, she then informed me that she had 1 different room which was bigger but no lake view, we were 2 x rooms with 4 guests so this did not seem fair or acceptable as an offering to our issue. She was very abrupt and advised us that the hotel was fully booked and bluntly asked us if we wanted the rooms or not. I was very confused, as why did she inform us of this 'issue' when she had no alternatives or offers of assistance, the only offer was for 1 of us to take a larger non-lake view room and the other couple were to put up and shut up. We advised against this and stuck with the original rooms. We had to then wait another hour to check-in, it was such a faff and a disappointing way to start a trip after a long day of travelling.

We eventually checked in and found the rooms pleasant and more than adequate, the lake view is stunning. The rooms come with all the usual amenities, robe, slippers etc, our robes were threadbare on the armpits and slippers seemed stained which was a shame so we avoided these. We ate in the hotel restaurant for both evenings during our stay and found the bar and restaurant staff so helpful and friendly, they are a credit to this hotel. By our second order of drinks, the staff had remembered what we all would like to order, which we appreciated.

We slept well in the rooms and found breakfast nice and plentiful, we were surprised that typical coffees and tea were not readily available and we had to order these additionally, which was a first for me. Both our evening meals at the hotel were great, not rushed and all meal options were great, we ordered salads, pasta's, steaks, burgers, plus starters and deserts and all were great, which is what drew us back to eat here for another night.

On our last day, we decided to spend the day at the pool / spa and have treatments. We spoke to reception the evening before to check availability for such treatments, we advised we would like massages plus facials, the reception advised they had booked the massages and to inform the therapist at the beginning of the massage of the additional treatments we would like. We attempted to do so and were told she was fully booked and could only fit the massages in, which was disappointing. We also had a large confusion in terms of payments, the therapist asked for us to pay in cash, which we did not have, so asked to add these charges to our rooms. We were planning on paying for the treatments, when we collected our luggage to head to the airport, the therapist did not like this idea so frogmarched us to reception to pay straight away. This made me feel as though she did not trust us, if the payment needed to be made in advance via reception, we could have arranged this when we had booked the treatments. The massage itself is advertised as a 40 minute relaxation massage, but I personally did not feel this was the case. I received a 25 minute massage, the therapist had her phone linked to speakers playing relaxing music, but her phone notifications kept going off and pausing the music, interrupting the whole experience. We also found the spa arrangements very odd and unheard of anywhere else, the hotel does not offer a 1/2 day or day pass for the spa, which is common here in the U.K. At this hotel you have to pay for separate time increments per spa facility. I.e. 20 Euros for 20 minutes in the steam room, 15 euro for an hours use of the indoor pool etc. This was very odd to us as well as costly to use the basic spa facilities. I would understand a day pass concept but the individual charges we did not understand or feel were worthy of the cost.

The outdoor pool is lovely, we enjoyed sitting out there on our last day in the sun. The pool bar did not seem open but the waiting staff were always nearby if you did need anything.

The hotel we found great but just found certain parts of the stay disappointing, confusing and frustrating. We really found I believe Ray (apologies if this is wrong!) very helpful and kind, we asked for all sorts of help, taxi's, advice on where to visit or not to visit and found his a great asset to your team, sadly I cannot say the same for I believe Anna who was the member of staff who created the check-in / wrong room fuss, without a resolution or alternative.
