Pros:

This was our first time in a Home 2 Suites by Hilton. I booked this hotel due to its location to the VCU Ambulatory Surgical Center which was directly across the parking lot.
The king bed room was spacious and very clean. If we were traveling with kids there was a sofa bed with a dividing curtain for a bit of privacy. The bathroom was very clean and the shower head was great. There was a kitchenette with no stove but a hotplate and skillet were available upon request.
They offer an above average breakfast starting at 6am, offering eggs, sausage, fruit, hot oatmeal and waffles. Coffee and tea are available 24/7.
Be aware of the $10 self parking fee. Also, I didn't like the pillows but Im a bit particular about those and I brought my own as I usually do. Overall a great night's sleep.

Do not expect a Hilton, but conveniently located and new facility.
Pros:

The breakfast was OK, the location is easy to reach and the cleaning of the room was perfect. New hotel, well supplied with elevators, OK gym, plenty of parking place.

Cons:

The AC is very loud and there is no other way to ventilate (the window is sealed). There was no replacement of disinfectant at the gym. The reception is totally dysfunctional, several times took minutes or more before someone showed up. Despite of the crowd at breakfast only one of the pancake equipment were turned on. We booked for 5 but the 5th bed was not prepared, then we had to ask for extra towels (those were not provided either). We got no information on HH-benefits, no word on the breakfast service either. The corridors were uncontrolled, there was a group of kids who were running up and down even after 10pm. - everything was a mess. Honestly, not a Hilton quality.

Wouldn’t stay here again
Pros:

We needed to book a room last minute since we were making a 17 hour drive home. This was close to our route so it didn’t add too much time.

Cons:

The bed was extremely uncomfortable and caused us both to toss and turn all night. The mattress felt like you were sleeping on a cement slab and the pillows were extremely flat.

There was hair on the bathroom floor, on the toilet and in the shower.

Pros:

The location was Great. Excellent sized gym.

Cons:

A severe lack of healthy breakfast choices. The only fruit/vegetable available were green apples. Towels in the gym were not replaced multiple days and the gym wipes stand was mistaken for a trash bin.

We stayed only one night but the room was clean and breakfast was good
Cons:

That I paid by Booking.com and they still made me pay 237.80 2 times on my card and when I went to dispute it the man at the desk was very rude and told me to have my bank call them. The one charge is still on my credit card and they make you pay 10 dollars for parking when you’re literally staying there.
