Hotel lovely and great to location to travel to other places. Rooms great and very quiet, food in the restaurant was brilliant.
Not much to do in the area, fire alarm went off first night and wasn’t a member of staff around to inform us what to do. Lifts still in use even though alarm went off. Eventually a member of staff arrived and said it was a false alarm.
As soon as we walked through the door, we had a lovely greeting from the lady and gentleman at reception. They asked about our journey, what plans we had and told us about the hotel, parking and area. The room was lovely, the food in the restaurant was lovely and check out was easy.

The room we booked was supposed to be a King room. I would not rate it as even a decent double. we were moved to the Family room when i complained. The family room was slightly larger than a normal double room in any other hotel. I think your description of rooms needs to be reviewed.
The staff were friendly,helpful and very accommodating. Food was good.
Very luxurious rooms, extremely comfy bed with lovely washing products in the shower etc. the staff were lovely and friendly. Breakfast was excellent.
We were disappointed that room service does not operate on a Saturday night and very limited uber eats options etc around the area. The restaurant couldn’t fit us in until extremely late so we were stuck with a 5 year old who couldn’t eat from the hotel and had to wait for food delivery as we arrived late at night.

Our room 417 was lovely. Very roomy and quiet.
Please, please, please get rid of the garish yellow mugs they are horrendous. In a hotel of this caliber they are totally unacceptable. Many older people find them too heavy and the colour is offensive.
We had dinner on our second evening and it was delicious. Three of our party had the fish and chips and they all agreed that they were delicious. I had the prawns and the quinoa and roast squash from the starter menu for my main course and it was absolutely delicious. I have to give a great big shout out to Troy, our wonderful waiter, he was so delightful, knowledgeable and funny. It was a delight to be served by him. Please pass on our thanks to him.
Breakfast was too expensive for what it was. I ordered veggie sausage but what arrived were vegetable croquettes, these are not veggie sausage. I couldn't eat them, they were tasteless. The second day I ordered poached egg and it was not properly cooked! It definitely put me off having anything else. My husbands poached egg was the same. £60 for breakfast that couldn't be eaten was definitely a big, big let down. I would suggest skipping breakfast here and go a walk along the marina where you can buy breakfast in one of the nice cafes.
