Fantastic views from the room great location, I was given a upgrade in room and found this room to be comfortable and quiet

Cynnyrch cymreig. Good to see a hotel in Wales promoting everything that’s great about our country- good local food, and drinks, and the use of Welsh. Diolch
Good location, very clean. Good quality bathroom products. Nice quality biscuits in bedrooms, Welsh tea. Breakfast very good too
Car park could be closer
Modern hotel, lovely staff, nice location.
Stayed two nights in room 125. Lovely room, clean and comfortable with a view of the museum.
Good choice of quality food at breakfast

Location was spot on , breakfast plentiful .
The bathroom was the only disappointment so much so I questioned whether there might be an alternative room available I hoped to improve on space. I had booked a king sized bed.
I was informed that all rooms have the same bathroom design, maybe 1-2 rooms benefit from a little extra space.
The bathroom is of a poor design affording little space once showered to dry off without leaving the bathroom door open .
The bedroom size is also on the small size.
Fashionably designed but minimal space.
Scrambled egg at breakfast did not reflect the standard of food served at this hotel.
Spacious rooms and good design. Interesting location on the waterfront. Good restaurant and menu

Maybe a bit more seating areas or private space was at times very busy which was good but some quite little area so that you can relax and enjoy the views

Couldn't turn the room heating down below 19%
The location
Firstly, the breakfast offered very limited choices, with no vegetables such as tomatoes or cucumbers, and no variety of cheese available. The breakfast area was also extremely cold, and I felt rushed during the service, which made the experience uncomfortable. Additionally, tables were not cleared promptly, often taking around 10 minutes. I was also disappointed that I was not informed about any children’s Easter activities, such as cinema, colouring, or an Easter trail. Reception staff should have made us aware of these, as this would have significantly improved our stay. Overall, we did not feel welcomed.
While the room was generally clean, essential items were not adequately replenished. For four people staying three nights, we were provided with only two rolls of toilet paper. There were also very few tea bags and only two sachets of milk. Despite informing reception, no action was taken.
The room itself was uncomfortable, with no minibar or fridge available, and windows that could not be opened. This made the room feel enclosed. As I cannot tolerate air conditioning, this further affected my comfort.
The lunch menu also had very limited options, adding to our dissatisfaction.
Due to these ongoing issues, I informed reception at approximately 12:15 that we had decided to leave one day early. Unfortunately, there was no response or attempt to address our concerns. I also enquired about the possibility of a refund for the unused night or flexibility with a late check-out, but received no reply.
This stay was intended to be a birthday present, which makes the experience even more disappointing as it was ultimately ruined. Overall, I am very unhappy with the service and the way my concerns were handled.
