It’s newly renovated and clean

The staff, amenities and the on-site restaurant were excellent.
The room itself was nicely appointed but the air conditioning was so loud the entire time it ran. And without it the room was way too hot. I had almost no sleep for the two nights.
Staff went above and beyond. A gift and card with balloons were left in the room for my five year olds birthday. They were extremely friendly and made a point to wish him a happy birthday several times during our stay.
Pool was a little chilly.

Front desk Manager can’t put two families on the same floor same room. That’s no good. Otherwise all well.
The cleaner "fragrance" used in the lobby. It was really strong and not a nice smell.

A little out of the way
The Location was convenient and the breakfast at the restaurant was decent. I liked that there was laundry facilities on site.
Firstly, the hotel charged my credit card for the full amount of my stay well before I checked in. This has never happened to me before. I can understand a charge for one night's stay being processed, especially since I notified and got approval for a very late check-in (mid-night or later) due to travel time. When I mentioned this upon my arrival, the counter agent was surprised and agreed that this was not the normal course of business, but that was it. Not even an apology! Also, upon our arrival, the main entrance door to the hotel was locked and there was no one at the front desk. We knocked and knocked. Finally we had to call the number and explain that we were at the entrance to check-in. Again, this is after advising the hotel that we would be checking in late. AND AFTER THEY HAD ALREADY TAKEN THE FULL AMOUNT OF MONEY FOR MY STAY! This was very annoying.
The housekeeping in this hotel sucked! My bathroom floor was dirty, the bathroom had just one face towel, even though two persons were known to be staying in the room. We had to insist that housekeeping clean the bathroom floor, and even then the maid sprinkled a few drops of water on the floor and dried it up. I don't understand this form of cleaning of the floor. No wet mop, no real water and no cleaning solution! They would only empty the trash on the days they came and barely made the bed up properly.
The housekeeping staff did not have a friendly attitude, and I don't understand why. I was always kind and polite. I feel they can use some additional training.

Große saubere Zimmer (nach kanadischem Standard sauber). Die Betten bequem und das Badezimmer herrlich groß und modern eingerichtet. Preis Leistung waren hervorragend. Den Preis für das Frühstück haben wir uns geschenkt und essen von ggü. Geholt.
