Tried to stick Me with an additional charge of $162 on My room that was paid in full with points, is a feeble attempt at ripping Me off. I had to send them the original booking and payment with points confirmation, to prove it. This is the first time I have ever encountered it with Best Western, and has Me never trusting this hotel franchise operator. The broken coffee machine, trying to force Us to buy coffee from the restaurant. The pool being closed because of chemical treatment for 2 days, shows the hotel doesn't know how to manage pool maintenance properly, and not trusting the use of the pool. Poor/No security in the parking lot with the homeless using the unlocked and open garbage compound to charge their phones, notwithstanding the homeless camp in the property next door. The bedroom is poorly designed with the TV wall unit obstructing the ability to get around the bed comfortably. Also has a very poorly designed parking lot, and not easy for bigger vehicles to manoeuvre. The least favourable BW Premier location I have been to yet. Wasn't recognized as a BW rewards member, until only after rectifying the hotels attempt to rip Me off with a false additional room charge. The water was just shoved over the counter with a "here's Your free water for being a rewards member", not exactly welcoming or appreciative, especially since they couldn't scam the extra money out of us. The colour in the main hotel hallway and fitness centre is a dingy battleship grey, perhaps for ease of dirty hiding, ironically looking more like an institutional hospital, than a hotel. Never saw anyone but staff in the hotel restaurant, and didn't hear or see any good reviews, so went to other local places to eat. Will maybe stay at the other BW at HWY 97 and 48th if We have to stay in Vernon again.

Breakfast could’ve been included. I booked 4 people in the room and only had 3. We got another towel from the front desk.

Service at the attached restaurant. Probably a separate company - didn’t really feel attached to the overall care of the hotel guest. Night and day difference between front staff and restaurant staff.

We were booked on a floor with a hockey team on one night the parents partied until 6 am. Loudly. Throughout the night. We complained but there was no follow up.

Great location, clean , good parking
Nice hotel, but avoid room 215 until they have done an upgrade to the beds. The bed was actualy fully worn out on top. It was like a saggy old spring mattress bed. The second bed in the room was so close to the heating unit that I could barely fit my cell phone between the bed and the unit. Otherwise nice.

Bathroom sink was plugged. So slow draining. Very small room. Strong odour of cooking (chopping onions, garlic, etc) around 3 am for the restaurant was very off putting.
