Pros:

O hotel tem uma boa localização, perto de estações de metro e trem. Da pra ir a pé também pra alguns pontos turísticos. Funcionários do café da manhã bem cordiais e educados. Wifi funcionou bem durante toda a estadia. Quarto com janela e vista legal da cidade.

Cons:

A limpeza poderia ser bem melhor, o quarto tinha pontos empoeirados perto da cama e na mesa, o que indicava que não eram limpos há algum tempo. Café da manhã poderia ser melhor, com mais opções. Foi o unico hotel que fiquei no Japão que não forneceu pijamas.

Perfect to explore Kyoto
Pros:

Super nice and helpful staff, spotlessly clean room. Breakfast offered local specialties along with Western style foods.

Cons:

I wish the scrambled egg wasn’t like a paste, they need to get a new recipe :-) They had a Japanese style eggroll the next day, it was much better. Convenient location.

Pros:

Spacious rooms, very well equipped and set up. Very quiet and clean. Fabulous breakfast. Competent staff. Good place.

Cons:

Walking distance to downtown but not close. Limited number of busses and trains. Location near the river is nice and there's a supermarket across the street and a convenience store on the corner but not many restaurants nearby.

Good wifi. Even in the evenings.

Cons:

We got a room with a window to another building.
Not much you can do about that but basically no sunlight. We didn't get breakfast here but it wasn't too intriguing too.
Every 3 days they do mandatory cleaning - which is fine, but they say cleaning starts 10AM, however room service knocked on the door like 9:15AM while we were still in bed.

Really comfortable stay in Kyoto!
Pros:

This was my favorite hotel of all the ones I stayed in while visiting Japan! Exceptionally clean and very functional room. The location is fairly decent, but do note that it is about a 10-minute walk from the nearest metro station. During future Japan stays I will try to visit another Sotetsu Fresa Inn!

Cons:

I wish the hotel offered overnight bicycle parking, especially given how bike-friendly Kyoto is as a city. The nearest bicycle parking lot is about an 8-minute walk away over the river.

Good stay in Kyoto
Pros:

It was clean and had good amenities in the lobby. The room was a good size. They helped me ship my luggage to the next hotel.

Cons:

Breakfast was not good, the food was cold and there were few options for a Western breakfast. The location was not close to tourist attractions or the train station.
