We loved the town of Milford, PA, and its autism awareness ribbons on trees! The porch seating outside for supper was lovely and the food was delicious.
It wasn't clear from the booking information where the parking was and where to check in (lacking obvious signs), but we figured it out and it was fine. We didn't take advantage of the hotel breakfast since we had to go to another building anyway -- just walked a little further and found a local breakfast restaurant nearby that was excellent.
The location, comfortable, and quiet were perfect
Stairs. Not sure if there was an elevator but I managed
Everything was clean, quiet and petty friendly. Staff was exceptionally nice. I would recommend to family and friends.
Reviewing the restaurant, excellent service, chef visited the table a few times which was pleasant. Attentive server, good food. Highlights were the little pyramid rolls and delicious sweetened butter, the in-house made pasta with great texture with vodka sauce and tender chicken, nicely prepared ahi tuna and delicious calamari. Reviewing the inn, clean and comfortable, but no hot water both mornings in the shower, despite hot water in the sink. Coffee ran out both mornings, but the breakfast hit was the house-made yogurt. Very friendly staff at breakfast, Bar Louis had interesting cocktails and Hotel Fourchere on our second night had good food and an outstanding server named Kaleigh. All in all a lovely 70th birthday celebration weekend in a cute town, all lit up for Christmas. Try to visit the antique shops, the Brooklyn Pork Store, and a gorgeous decor store called Willow. Health House nearby has a multitude of spa and wellness offerings and very informative and friendly staff.
Location was good and breakfast excellent
Staff were pleasant
Staff was excellent, very attentive and helpful
The place is a little dated
We booked to celebrate our anniversary. It was a wonderful stay and we look forward to returning again soon! The room was beautiful and the staff was amazing! Everyone was friendly and helpful. We will definitely be recommending to others
nothing!
Breakfast was nice, location was primo. Staff was extremely helpful
El estilo de construcción , la atención del staff, la limpieza
Loved our little room it was well equipped and super clean
Decent but severely overpriced
On the upside, the staff was amazing! Very helpful, kind and courteous. Location was good, within walking distance of shops and restaurants. Free breakfast was very good and staff was very attentive. The overall property was very neat and clean. However, it is on a road where you here traffic driving by. So if you're looking for quiet, this may not be the spot for you. The downside, I was very disappointed with our room. I feel it was not worth the money we paid for it. It was extremely small and outdated. The entrance door barely cleared the bed when you opened it. There was paint peeling on the wall. The outside of the window across from the bed was so covered in dirt, you could hardly see out of it. The bathroom had a pedestal sink so there was no vanity or shelf to put your toiletries. We had to use the window ledge and a small settee that was placed in front of it to hold all our personal items. I was also not impressed with the food at their restaurant. I ordered spaghetti with a giant meatball. The meatball was good, but the spaghetti was just awful. Don't know if it was overcooked/undercooked but it was like glue in my mouth. I couldn't even eat it. Would I stay here again... really not sure. The excellent staff makes me think maybe I would try it again. Only this time in a different room and not eat at their restaurant.
Excellent 1 night stay in the 1800s refurbished hotel, right in the heart of old Milford Pa. Town
Awsome place
we came in late and the person working the night desk, I think her name is Lisa, was so very good to me when I was exhausted and needed help opening a window. This was a charming place and the full breakfast at the lovely inn just a couple doors down was very welcome.
Loved our spacious room, updated bathroom, amenities and complimentary breakfast was a plus
The Tom quicken and the hotel for share our manage my Milford entertainment group. Well the property was nice. It was very staff supporting to hotels. We stayed at a rough night in the middle of the week and there was no one around facilities were quite dated. I would stay there again if I was in Milford but mainly because it’s the only option in the area
