Overall nice staff
Bed was very comfortable. The 2 aircon units didn't provide any heat which was an issue when the temp was only 4; no bath soap, no bath mat, the wi-fi unit didn't work.
Room was clean, facilities were satisfactory, and it was very quiet as the pub was closed.
Communications for an unstaffed check were poor. Communications only came after numerous follow-ups and did not include details of which door had the code pad which was difficult to find in the dark. Other than the poor Communications, everything else was good.
It's an old country pub that needs a bit of a tidy up. I had a room with a share bathroom. Decided not to shower in the morning given the dirty state of the shower and bathroom. Pub doesn't open til after check out time so no breakfast onsite that I could find. One upside - staff are good at communicating. Not sure what the picture of the house is on the Hotels.com website - once you book you get a pic of the old pub! Only upside - staff were great at communicating.

The room was clean, tidy and air conditioned. The shared bathroom facilities was not a problem for a overnight stay.
Staff were very friendly and off street parking was great. The local Bowling Club is within walking distance and the area is quiet and peaceful.
A simple, nice clean room that was comfortable and quiet, no frills and with some takeaway food and shopping right next door it was nice and convenient.

Wifi reception was a bit slow, but was expected given the remote location.
