Pros:

Beds were quite comfortable, the view was amazing from the bedroom and balcony, kitchen was well equipped so was super easy to use.

Cons:

There was an annoying beeping constantly from the hot water metres that would go off frequently and occasionally wouldn’t stop. all you’d hear was “beeeeeeeeeeep”

Cons:

The parking and trying to get through the car park levels to get to the Hotel Entrance, it took over 30mins walking around levels and lifts just to get to the Entrance reception.

Pros:

We have been staying at the Star Residences for extended oeriods over the last few tears and have never been disappointed. Very good position for travelling in durection of Surfers / Southport or other way towards Tweed Heads. Next door to Paxific Fair.

Cons:

One niggle we had, although fortunately we didnt need to use it too often, was that the sound bar wasn't connected to the television in the lounge in apartment 13407 (the connector didn't even seem the right shape to fit). The tv guy who visited a couple of times was unable to fix the tv volume and although the reception staff said they would try to source a new sound bar, it was only on the day we left the tv guy returned to say he was booked in to fix the oronlem for the next guests. We were there 27 nights with the tv volume on maximim 100 and xouldnt hear the actors spwak in movies.😡

If you really really have to stay here, the staff are lovely.
Pros:

If you need to be Gold Coast based, The Residences are well located. Our apartment was well equipped and clean but….

Cons:

The lifts are appalling. ‘Lift Bingo’ is the only was to describe whether you will be able to get one in a couple of minutes or 10 minutes. For the number of floors and guests, this building is woefully served.
The building also has a life of its own. Strange noises - water pressure in pipes?? - means there is often an unpleasant discordant background noise. Really really disconcerting if you wear hearing aids as I do.
And don’t forget how you got from your car to the foyer. You’ll never find you car again..

Exhausting.
Pros:

Had what you would expect. View was good.

Cons:

The room had an extremely loud whistle caused by the room not being able to seal correctly. Tried opening and closing the doors, turning off the aircon but no help. Terrible night sleep. Make sure you check your room doesn’t make this noise before heading out!!!!
