Pros:

Location was great and close to everything we needed. Walking distance to everything.
Lovely apartment. Comfortable and clean.

Cons:

Lifts were way too slow.
Very noisy alarm sound coming from hot water system all night. Very annoying!

The bed was very hard & uncomfortable. The bedding had rips/ cuts in it. I considered going to sleep on the couch. Clean and neat & nice apartment but the value didn’t add up then parking on top was an extra charge per a night.

Excellent location, but the persistent pipe noise made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.
Pros:

The location was excellent for the trade show, and the unit was reasonably comfortable. However, the ongoing pipe noise significantly affected our ability to sleep.

Cons:

The unit had very noisy pipes throughout our stay. From Day 1 to Day 5, the noise was particularly disturbing, especially on Friday night, and significantly affected our comfort and sleep.

We were in the area for work and were generally out during the day. However, after a long day, we expected to be able to return to the unit and have a good night's sleep. Unfortunately, the constant pipe noise made this very difficult.

We were advised at check-out that the noise was caused by pipes on certain floors. If the issue is already known, we believe guests should not be allocated to those floors until the problem has been properly fixed.

One main issue was a big inconvenience and dampened our stay

Facilities were great
We were really looking forward to our stay however an issue with noise via hot water pipes within the building dampened our stay

Cons:

There was a piercing noise coming from hot water pipes constantly throughout the building and our room during our stay.
When we voiced our concern, this was a known issue, it was state that maintenance was onsite daily to fix (no maintenance people sighted). It was disappointing that this was a known issue that we were not advised about prior or at check in. When checking out, the apology was not sincere or empathetic

Great location and view
Pros:

The location and the view was amazing we were on the 48th floor apartment was clean and the bed was comfortable we had everything we needed.

Cons:

Getting to the front foyer to check no place to park and the staff are not that friendly at the front desk. You also get charged for your parking which other hotels near by it’s part of your stay

Reception staff was really nice and helpful

Super easy to access and easy parking

Cons:

Lift Wait Times (however, know this is out of management's control)
The Iron in our room didn't work
The Cafe outside the Casino tends to have really slow service - they also cleared my plate before I was finished (I popped to the bathroom)

Clean comfortable room

Cons:

There was a high pitched noise coming from directly outside our room, which kept us awake most of the night
Also, when booking the room, Parking was advertised as being included in the price, only to receive an email the day before arriving to say that it wasn't guaranteed , due to not providing the booking advertisement, i was charged for Parking, not happy with that at all

Pros:

The location is amazing. I havent been at the Star on the Gold Coast before. The one bedroom unit with balcony had amazing city views and ocean glimpses. This exceeded my expectations. I will be back. Highly recommend the Star Residence.
