Great location, clean, good breakfast, very comfortable rooms, great staff
Surprisingly poor water pressure. Shower was disappointing.
Excellent location for a concert at Powderham Castle. The hotel felt fresh and new and the facilities were all excellent, with a spacious room, comfortable bed and ample parking with EV charging.

Very well designed hotel with large and luxurious rooms with very good facilities.
The shower was a little grubby and could do with a good deep clean. Apart from that the room was spotless. Silly gripe but only 2 milk sachets. I know I could have gone to reception to get more - but not in my pants first thing. The menu online differs from the actual hotel. The upstairs bar is fantastic, but rightly pricey. The downstairs bistro bar is better value but like a crèche.

Great sleeping environment (comfortable bed, good temp control and blackout curtains). Staff extremely friendly. Easy carpark and buffet breakfast had lots on offer
No toilet brush in room to clean own toilet, glass window to bathroom instead of a wall meaning limited privacy which could be uncomfortable if sharing room with family

Beautiful location on arrival, was pleasantly surprised. Rooms were decorated to a high standard and facilities were fab. Breakfast was lovely.
Nearly an hour wait to access the room, of which we weren’t the only ones. It wouldn’t have been as bad if Marriott dome specifically email stating ‘guaranteed entry from 3pm’. We arrived at 3:20 with two children and was a bit frustrated at having to wait for so long given the ‘guarantee’ perhaps just remove this from your welcome email to avoid problems.
