The hotel made it a great birthday for my husband
Pros:

Excellent location for the rugby and as it was my husband’s birthday they had decorated the room for him. Staff were very welcoming, courteous and helpful

From check-in to check out, the staff could not do enough for us. The breakfasts were delicious. The restaurant was fantastic, as was the bar food. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable.

Pros:

location good and easy to get into town. Didn't use facilities.

Cons:

No milk or water in the room on arrival or topped up while not in room.No biscuits either. Previously stayed at Jurys Inn in Exeter and they had a generous range of biscuits in the room and milk and water.
