Nice clean rooms and facilities, housekeeping excellent. More variety at breakfast would be good however what was there was fine.Location of the hotel is great as a base to explore Devon.
Very modern hotel with a spacious room. Lovely restaurant area for breakfast. Appreciated free use of hotel gym. Huge car park.
Room was not available at stated check in time and had to wait 30 minutes. Staff were very apologetic but frustrating nevertheless.
The hotel was very busy which meant breakfast was a bit chaotic.
Shower in room was a little disappointing.
Nice looking hotel, quiet, clean, great bar, great restaurant... all really really high quality.
Booked it last minute as made a mistake with an earlier booking. I really wanted a hotel in middle of Exeter so I would not have to use car during stay. However I was really pleased with hotel. Extremely clean. Staff were great. Breakfast excellent so all in all a lovely hotel for a modern feel. I did pay more than I wanted to but had no other choice. And a twin room would’ve made it perfect.
Couldn’t have a twin room. But other than that a great hotel
This is a clean, convenient and functional place to stay if you just want a bed for the night. It's modern and conveniently placed by the M5 exit to Exeter. I chose it because it was cheap and has charging points for electric vehicles.
Only 5 of the 6 charging points work and they are slow, overnight 7V chargers. That didn't work for me, so I took the car to the motorway services 5 mins away to use the fast chargers there. A convenient solution but if upgrading the chargers, a couple of faster ones might be useful for customers.
Very clean and friendly polite staff.
The mattress was awful and so uncomfortable!!
The breakfast was all cheap ingredients and cold and sat in oil!! I couldn’t eat it!
Lovely location, great food.
Our air con did not work in either inter-connecting room. Consequently, we phoned reception in the early hours but they were unable to resolve. Instead, we were offered fans which were noisy and blew the hot air (26 degrees C) around. A very dissapointing and uncomfortable stay owing to this unfortunately.
Rooms were changed after a heating issue without fuss.
Thing is, don’t ask for reviews if you’re understaffed and overcharging. Nothing prepared us for breakfast here. Imagine paying £160 then having to clean up a table yourself to be able to sit down to eat. Less Marriot more transport cafe
Convenient from Motorway. Good quality hotel, quiet, good breakfast
As with most hotels only one chair in the room which is booked for 2 people. Not comfortable perched on the edge of the bed all evening, or having to lie on the bed, or take it in turns to sit upright.
Location was perfect for our needs
Expensive
Lovely clean and well laid out hotel. Very attentive staff. Good car parking. comfortable room with an excellent shower. Great breakfast and the restaurant provided some excellent food (and service) in the evening.
My only minor gripe was that they could have done with a third receptionist as check in was quite slow.
Staff was good
The room wasn’t ready, the general set up was more basic than expected. Looks a lovely hotel but not worth the money
Loved the view from the 7th floor
The rooms were spacious, well appointed and clean.
The staff were very friendly, very acccomodating of the children travelling with us. The water station is a nice touch.
Sat nav took us to the staff car park, there was no signage to point you to the 3rd floor entrance, it was only passers by who had been in the same situation the previous day that helped get us to the correct entrance.
There was a christian and morman bible in both rooms, feel not very inclusive to all guests
Would benefit from a menu in the room to tempt dinning
Room was spacious and clean
The shower pressure was weak
The room was very good
The breakfast set up and standard was a complete shambles
Very comfy, clean, convenient, good facilities, good view, nice breakfast.
