Aber Abendessen im Hotel Restaurant entsprach nicht den Bewertungen, es war enttäuschend und der Preis nicht angemessen. Am Nachbartisch Softdrink aus Supermarkt Getränkedosen!

a beautiful and romantic getaway
Pros:

the staff from the concierge desk to the front desk were extremely friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond. the room was gorgeous as was the rain shower in the bathroom. we had a wonderful dinner on the upstairs terrace restaurant. the breaksfast was absolutely delicious and served in a lush tropical terrace. the servers were very attentive. it was our go to in casco. the perfect way to start the day.

El personal muy atento. Me organizaron el tour al canal, reservas de restaurantes, atención muy amable en general. La ubicación en el casco viejo de la ciudad es muy buena.

Cons:

El segundo día de alojamiento la habitación la hicieron alrededor de las 17.00. Tuve que solicitar que la hicieran, a lo cual respondieron rápidamente.

Our stay at the Sofitel was huge unexpected bonus from having flight cancelled; Thanks Booking.com!!
Pros:

Gorgeous property with history to boot. The view from our balcony (see attached photo!) was of the Panama City Skyline but out the door of the hotel was the center of the Old City! Staff wonderful. Breakfast was served on the most beautiful patio too. And the couple that danced in the lobby were wonderful too.

Cons:

... that we didn't stay longer by the pool!
