Location and cleanliness
No window, very small. Cannot increase temperature
The reception was lovely....unfortunately it makes you think the rest of hotel will be .....very misleading
The room....I'm using this word generously was incredibly small for a double
Location is great and very convenient. Rooms are exceptionally clean an I’ve stayed here 3 times now and it’s always to the same high standard.
Nothing.
The staff wrote absolutely amazing, I had an issue with a strong smell of bleach on my room and the lady kindly showed me other room options and was very accommodating, great location for traveling into London also the shopping centre The Brewery is perfect for keeping kids busy while not travelling too far from the hotel. I can’t fault the staff in any way I feel bad leaving a bad review however that has no connection to the staff, I give the staff 5 stars!
Our room had no window with a view of outside, our view was of an office in the next room with the window frosted and when a hotel staff member would go into the office the light would come through my window in my room at night. when I asked to move rooms I was notified none of the windows open and most rooms have no view of outside. I felt extremely claustrophobic also as the rooms are extremely extremely small, the room was a good price however next time I would pay more to stay in another hotel to have a window and be able to see outside and let air in the room.
I was also worried for the staffs safety as I only seen women working and there is no security which is concerning as Romford is a rough area and anyone can walk in from the street and walk up the stairs ways and walk into reception. I think they should definitely have a security guard for the safety of the female staff especially.
Location is convenient in Romford high street. Downside is there is a pub opposite the hotel Weatherspoons so outside was dirty and there was vomit.
The hotel is clean.
1. The room was shockingly small. The toilet is a few feet from the bed so you feel there is lack of privacy especially if travelling with another person.
2. When leaving, we had to take stairs from the 1st floor reception as we handed our access key to activate the lift when checking out. We had small luggage which was not too bad but did wonder how guests with big bags would cope.
3. Breakfast is okay. The fried eggs are overcooked and quite hard.
For £103 for the night I didn't think my overall experience at the hotel was value for money.
Hotel was nice, staff very good.
Romford is an awful place.
Everything
Except the creaky ceiling above.
Because I have a stressful job I need a silent room to recharge for the next working day.
Room 204 is not a room I will take again as the floor above creaks very loudly from the people walking about and they did alot of walking about to wake me several times.
It’s very ideal to Romford town centre and jubilee line straight into London centre
Nothing bad to say everything was perfect
The staff were friendly and mostly helpful.
Unfortunately we were locked out of our room and unable to sleep in the twin room we had booked or access any of our belongings including PJs, toiletries and medication. This led to a very uncomfortable night. Whilst staff were friendly and helpful, the only compensation we were offered was a past its best breakfast and no one has responded to my email.
Stunning property, super helpful staff. The food was incredible as well.
