very clean and close to everything. no closet in the room.
the hotel is located inside the TRAIN STATION. this is something that should have been mentioned prior to ordering.
this can be good if you want to make it to the train on time but very bad if you need to open a window. noisy.
Being right at the train station, I thought it was going to be noisy but it was very quite. The hotel has a very cool, railway-themed boutique hotel feel. The room was very comfortable; bed was great and the air-conditioning worked well despite very hot weather. Breakfast was very good, dinner and the cocktails were excellent. I love the Alfama neighbourhood where its located; windy, cobbled streets with great bars and restaurants.
Not much! There was major construction outside (big flood control project) which made me go on a massive detour coming back one time but once you figure it out, its no problem.
Location
Everything, lousy service. They parked the car and when we wanted it the person wasn’t there!!
Nice staff and good selection at breakfast
The room was so small and so darkly decorated that it felt like we were in a hole. Far too many mirrors which just caused confusion
Tudo perfeito
Nada
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were exceptionally clean and offered a beautiful view. The staff were warm, welcoming, and very accommodating. We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a river-view room, which made our stay even more special.
The location is excellent, with most of Lisbon’s attractions within walking distance. Bus stops, the train station, and river cruises are all just a few minutes away, making it incredibly convenient to explore the city.
As Muslims, my husband and I especially appreciated that the bathroom was equipped with a shattaf (Muslim shower), a thoughtful feature that made our stay much more comfortable.
The hotel is housed in a beautifully preserved historic building, giving you the unique feeling of stepping back into the 19th century while still enjoying modern comfort. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Lisbon.
There were a few areas that could be improved. The breakfast selection was quite limited, with fewer options than we expected from a five-star hotel. The rooms are a bit small, and some amenities typically expected at this level, such as an in-room iron, were not provided. We also noticed a strong chemical smell on the towels, which was not very pleasant. These are relatively minor points, but addressing them would make the overall experience even better.
Everything was simply great, I highly recommend!
Its quiet despite beside the station. All mode of transpo is near distance
The room is tiny. Beautiful but tiny
It was close to our friends
Old and steached out, long corridors.
