Excellent. Cleaning staff so helpful and breakfast was excellent
Pros:

Grand building, beautiful long corridors, historical artefacts dotted around reflecting industrial history of the building.

Cons:

Room a little small. But that was it. Lovely

Remarkable location
Pros:

The location was perfect 17 mins took me to go to Rossio square. Restaurants are nearby 5 mins walking distance.

Restaurants staff were remarkable especially Juan and Ana who remembered I have omelette and hot coffee every morning and treated me well.

Cons:

The room was so small for this type of hotel and they had no other rooms available left. Thats the only disappointment.

I would recommend to family and friends
Pros:

1. Room was quiet
2. Room was spotless
3. Bed was very comfortable
4. Bed linen and towels were clean and comfortable
5. View from Riverside window was lovely, could see cruise ships and river
6. Breakfast had a varied choice and was delicious (cold meats, pastries, hot bacon, egg, sausage, cereals, seeds, yoghurt, breads, ect ect)
7. Area that hotel was in was perfect for getting to old town (Alfama area), 10 minutes walk up the hill
8. Loads of cheap restaurants in Alfama (sardines, potatoes and salad 13 euros, white wine 3 euros, large sangria 5 euros at happy hour.
9. Very easy to get the train at Santa Apolina to Porto (hotel lobby is in the train station)

Ca va pour deux nuits
Pros:

Lit confortable, chambre simple avec peu de changement mais il y a ce qu'il faut. Salle du petit déjeuner agréable..
Le late check out accepté a été très apprécié.

Cons:

Personnel poli mais nonchalant. Et pour la vue Rivière, vous pouvez oublier quand il y a un bateau de croisière stationné juste devant l'hôtel. C'est un peu l'arnaque.

You can not find a better place or a better value for your money than here - perfect!
Pros:

Amazing room & great staff! The absolute best location at the base of the old city. All the breakfast you can eat, and a beautiful 200 year old historic location that has been completely remodeled.

Adequate but not cheap
Pros:

We liked the history and the decor inside the building

Cons:

Entrance outside was dirty and not very welcoming. Breakfast was poor, long periods with limited food availability and staff were not very friendly.
