There was an issue at check in regarding suite upgrade due to my Platinum Elite status. The front office manager Ashish came and professionally ensured status was duly recognised.

Solid 4 star property in mint condition with hospitable staff.
Breakfast was complete including a live counter.

Had a wonderful experience at Fairfield by Marriott Dehradun
The ambience was beautiful, the rooms were comfortable, and the overall atmosphere made our stay very pleasant.

The food was excellent throughout our stay. We had a few special diet requirements as well as some requests for our child, and every single request was taken care of with great attention. A special thanks to Senior Head Chef Umed Singh Rana for personally ensuring that our dietary needs were followed perfectly.

A big appreciation to Chef Rajender, Chef Trivender, Chef Ganesh, Chef Rohit, Chef Arjun, Chef bhupender singh and Chef Kameshwer for preparing such delicious meals with consistency and care.

Special thanks to Kavinder, Amit, ajoy, fardeen and all other service staff for warm and attentive service, and Managers Neha Ma’am, Neeraj nisha and Anjali for making sure everything was smooth and comfortable.

A heartfelt thanks to Sumi Ma’am for the thoughtful room upgrade it made our stay even more comfortable and memorable.

Finally, heartfelt thanks to the entire staff for their kindness, professionalism, and genuine hospitality. You all made us feel at home.

We had an incredible experience. Food was par excellence. I traveled the whole world but the food here was out of the world. Special Mention to Chef Bhupendra, chef Ashish, Chef Rajendra, Chef Narendra and Chef Arjun. Their hospitality was commendable. They served us each dish with so much love, all tasted heavenly.
I don’t have a sweet tooth but I couldn’t resist myself to finish my dessert platter. It was that good. I would definitely come here again to experience their expertise which they put and inculcate in each dish of theirs. Do come and have an experience of flavours and hospitality.

Marriott Dehradun has become our go-to destination every time my wife and I visit the city. The hotel is excellent, but it's the people who make every stay truly special.

I recently stayed at Fairfield by Marriott, Dehradun. The hotel has several definite positives: the mountain-view rooms are lovely and peaceful, the restaurant offers pleasant green views, and there’s a nice selection of board games that makes downtime enjoyable.

However, there are a few areas that need attention. The pool water appeared unclean, and the in-room bathing soap felt low quality. The room couch mattress was uncomfortable and needs replacement. Overall the experience felt more like a 3.5 to 4‑star stay rather than a 5‑star one, and it didn’t feel like good value for the price. Service also seemed more transactional and profit-focused than guest-focused.

We had a really lovely stay and would happily give it a 10/10.

Sumi at reception was so welcoming and helpful throughout, and Chef Naveen really went out of his way to take care of us when it came to the food — he even made us a farewell pastry before we left, which was such a sweet gesture.

Shivani at Pano was always warm and incredibly patient with us during the morning buffet, and Manoj at security was always around and happy to help whenever we needed anything.

A big thank you to all of them for making our stay that much more enjoyable. We’d definitely love to come back!
