We enjoyed staying here as it was walkable from the downtown but away from the hustle and bustle. The view of the volcano from the pool was great and breakfast was wonderful each morning.

Nice hotel to stay in La Fortuna.

Very spacious rooms and a decent breakfast. It is a bit of a walk from city center but still recommended this hotel.

Pros:

A nice choice at the edge of town. Clean, quiet and convenient. Walk to shops, restaurants and the plaza. Walked across the road to Fortuna Hikes and Trails for an excellent guided tour.

We got a big room but the water in the toilet didn't go down. The man at the reception came to order. But still the problem continued. The roof rattled from the rain. And the manager of the place was not ready to move us to a room. Only after we trained that we would stop the payment did he agree to transfer us. The breakfast is good and the service is very nice. The location is excellent

We had a lovely stay! Our room was clean and spacious, each room had a small sitting area outside, volcano views and lovely landscaping. Breakfast was hearty and delicious. It's far enough out of the center of things that it is quiet at night, but close enough you can walk into town. Staff was very friendly and helpful as well.
