Pros:

My family is from Sullivan, so we stayed at the Motel 1 night on our trip to Chicago. It was quiet and clean, and served its purpose. The AC worked well.

Cons:

My husband said it looks like it did 35 years ago the only other time he came to visit, we stayed at the same motel. It has new mirrors and tvs other than that it is very dated. So dont expect fancy. Dont expect breakfast, but there are a few places in town to eat.

Quaint really cute safe
Pros:

The room was absolutely adorable. All of the linen was new and fresh. It had a humongous big screen TV with a ton of channels to watch. It’s in a really quiet area very safe. There is a café right across the street and it is very close to Lady Shelbyville. The owners are very kind and do a really good job of running this hotel.

The check in area is a bit sketchy, the older Indian gentleman checks you in from behind a plexiglass panel and you slide your ID through a little slot at the bottom! He didn’t say much but he soon exchanged my payment for his room key. The rooms are dated but clean, and they were painting the outside of the hotel while I was staying.

It’s the best hotel in this town! (The only hotel in this town!)

nice budget -friendly motel
Pros:

nice budget friendly motel. nice room, lots of tv channels with a nice 50 in tv. no real concession area but close to others just down the road. best of all it was clean and smoke free. nice man at the check-in desk. i would stay here again.
