Nice and clean room
Nothing. Awkward entry system
Everything Dingy damp smelling room in the basement with a view of a disused overgrown railway track. Chipboard door facings and fittings. Dangerously hot broken shower. No clean up service. No towel change. Really uncomfortable bed which sagged at the foot. Annoying nighttime on/off glow from router behind the television. Never ever again. Expensive rip off. So so disappointed.
Location was great. Very well connected by bus and tram
Room was quite cramped. Needs more electricity outlets for phone charging etc
Right next to Shrubhill bus stop, our unit 2 was on entry level.
Lack of amenities, tight bed setting
Place was clean, beds comfortable, easy and safe to get in and out.
Parking - there really IS NOT anywhere to park nearby, nearby streets are an absolute no with permits, threats to clamp, or maximum 4 hour stay or some other rubbish excuse to not let you park in the city without paying a fortune for the privilege. The recommended car park is miles away and £35. It's okay if your traveling light, if not you've got a steady uphill walk to any car parks with luggage. Oh and probably could do with more towels (Room 3) to put on the floor in the shower as the water goes everywhere and it got quite slippy.
It was an incredibly quite place, windows to the inner yard, great sleep, very simple, but everything one needs to have.
Comunicazione mirata e accesso semplice! Ottima scelta
Great location on Leith Walk: close enough for either walk into city or down to Leith. Tram stop close by. Lovely area: good selection of cafes and restaurants nearby, and easy walk to the Playhouse if seeing a show. Parking was OK on the nearby streets but this was because it was a weekend: factor this into your costs if driving to Edinburgh.
Check-in was easy, instructions arrived at 2ish on day we were arriving. Bed was OK, room was clean and decent coffee machine.
Parking is on nearby streets which are resident parking zones and short-term costly. Car park 10 mins up the hill if staying during the week: this could rack up quite a cost though.
Check-out 10 am: again factor this in if you are going for a night out!
Great location! Secure! Clean and comfortable. Excellent amenities in the room, including good WiFi and access to smart TV.
Appreciated the chilled water in the fridge and little touches toward sustainability such as use of refillable glass bottles.
Easy, central location.
The room was great. Everything we needed and the bed was so comfortable.
Nothing not to like.
It was spacious enough for two. Very comfortable bed. Good coffee and tea making facilities. Even a fridge. Shower gel provided. Really couldn’t have wanted more (except being a little closer to the centre, but, hey you can’t have perfection) Communication was excellent and clear as were the instructions to get in
All good.
Good location about a third of the way down the “walk” between the old town and Keith making both walkable .
Didn’t really like idea of no reception but to be fair the lock boxes worked ok
Hotel was £400 for single room and £513 for double for two nights which , even considering it was festival time was massively overpriced.
I think decor was meant to be shabby chic but with varnished pdf board prevalent and cheap carpet tiles it was more shabby than chic
Rooms were adequate but only 1 pillow , a coffee machine that didn’t work and pretty small… by no means terrible but a bit of a let down
Good location for our visit, nice restaurants in the area.
All good....
The place was quiet for such a central location. And very clean, with a good shower and tea and coffee.
The mattress doesn’t fit the base so it was hanging off. Also one side was very soft you could compress it with your hands.
Clean good accommodation and fairly local to all attractions
Can't say I disliked anything
