Upon arrival at the property for check-in, I immediately detected a strong, hazardous odor inside
the accommodation. The smell was intense, abnormal, and indicative of an unhealthy indoor
environment.
The odor caused immediate concern for personal health and safety, rendering the
accommodation unfit for habitation.

Nice location, funky room, too warm.
Pros:

Funky room,lots of space. Well stocked with tea, coffee etc. Well presented

Cons:

Middle door to enter property didn't lock so a bit of a security risk. Room was roasting. Knows on the radiators we're broken so we couldn't turn them down.

Our room wasn’t clean at all. None of the room had been hoovered and there was hairs and bits everywhere, there was a lot of black mould in the shower, there was hairs in the bed, and the bath mat had big and obvious wet footprint marks on it. The owner sent the cleaner back in but all that was done was a little hoovering. It did not fix the issue at all. I even sent the owner pictures after the cleaner had been, and they opened them but have not replied. Cleanliness is about the only thing I would expect from a hotel room, which was clearly not achieved here. I feel disappointed by the owner’s lack of responsiveness or lack of apology. They did not do anything themselves after sending the cleaner back in, which did not solve the issues. No offer of compensation or a refund.

Pros:

What breakfast? I didn't even know there was any!

Cons:

I would have liked it if the shower had more than only hot water. I think the cold was not working. It made showering very difficult. Also, why did the sink only have cold water? It makes me want to get some of my money back as working showers is a basic requirement for a hotel.

Pros:

It’s a great place to stay with an excellent layout for sharing the space with others. Very walkable and convenient for public transport.

Cons:

The WiFi was spotty, slow, and/or kept dropping. The bathroom wall and shower curtain have mould and mildew. The water temperature seemed to be stuck on hot. Also, a squeegee might be nice to remove some of the puddles in the bathroom after showering.

Helt OK for en overnatting eller to.
Pros:

Det var en god beliggenhet med nærhet til puber, restauranter og butikker.
Rommet inneholdt kjøleskap, vannkoker, kaffemaskin og litt utvalg kaffe/te.
Sengene var behagelige og rommet var stort.

Cons:

Rommet vendte mot en bakgård/tunnel der det var mye støy om nettene.
Rengjøringen på badet var ikke veldig bra, og vi delte bad med naboleiligheten (Dette visste vi på forhånd).
Det var ulike koder for å komme inn, og disse fungerte ikke alltid, men vi hadde heldigvis en brikke i tilfelle. Vi brukte en del tid på å komme oss inn.

Excellent stay
Pros:

Large spacious room with en-suite. Tea/coffee making facilities and also had a fridge which was excellent. Location in Leith is walkable to the centre of Edinburgh but plenty of transport outside if needed. Codes to get in the gate, front door and then your room but it all works really easily. No reception but wasn’t an issue for me.

Cons:

Not really a problem but the Tv in our room didn’t have signal. Managed to get YouTube and didn’t contact anyone regarding it so they didn’t get the chance to sort it.
