Sufficient for a brief stay
Pros:

We were barely there to spend the night so this is a very brief review. It is a Novotel, so you get what you expect in the room. The room size was average and felt more like a business hotel.

Cons:

Noisy and busy hotel. The drain in the bathroom was smelling terrible right through our stay.

It is well located and seems it’s a franchise property so the service levels could be better.

Cons:

It didn’t have a swimming pool yet all references on Google mention it has an open air pool. How did a hotel get a 5 star rating without a swimming pool. My daughter chose this because of the references to the pool but was extremely disappointed.

Electrical points, TV, size of room, bathroom comfort.

Cons:

24 hrs before check in, there was a transaction on my credit card.
Since I wasn't expecting, I reported the matter to credit card company.
They informed me that it's from Novotel.
At check in, I was informed it was a blocking transaction which will be released at check out and payment.
Unusual, irritating, avoidable activity.

I didn’t like that Booking.com has requested for online check in & still I did all the process at the front office.

My question- why do you do that? Why online check in if u still hv to verify everything.
