The glass of the bathroom. Not enough privacy

It didn’t feel like a four star hotel at all. Once you got upstairs, it felt like a Hostel. The fan in my bathroom wasn’t working and the room smelt really musty when I first arrived. I asked the staff to move rooms but they didn’t have anything else available and got me a portable air purifier instead. This helped a bit but it still wasn’t ideal. I noticed they accept pets & the rooms have carpet, so I wondered if this contributed to the offputting smell. My windows were covered in a non-transparent material so I couldn’t see out and the room was very white and sparse and it felt a bit like a cell, it just wasn’t a very nice space to be in. It didn’t look like the photos on the booking site. I don’t mind a small room, and have stayed in these kind of hotels before (small space but supposedly premium furnishings) which have been very nice, this just didn’t hit the mark. There was no kettle in my room and the kitchen area was dirty and crowded. I would’ve been ok with some of these things had I paid less for it.

You aren’t able to open the windows in the rooms so there were times where the room felt a little stuffy despite having AC. Another thing I did not like and this might sound obvious but once the blinds are open you don’t have much privacy. I thought the windows were tinted, turns out I was giving the apartments across the way a bit of a show the entire time.

It was noisy-so noisy. There was a bar directly below my room and there was a wedding. Although the noise is meant to stop at 11pm it didn't. Unfortunately I didn'f feel refreshed when I woke for my business meeting the next day. Also the room layout means you need to crawl over the bed to open and clsoe the blinds. Not great.

Room smelt like a wet dog or worn socks. Accessing the bed was like an obstacle course - bed across a ledge.

I did miss have a kettle or mini fridge in the room. Every time we went to the communal kitchenette on level 3 to get a cup or mug, there were never any clean ones. It became annoying.

The design of the shower is silly as well - the hotel saved money on having a half screen but then you get water everywhere as there's no way to not splash water when you shower.

the only thing I don't like is there is not an iron in the room it is down stairs and a few times has not worked.

Enttäuschende Zimmergrösse, Lage hinter Gemeinschaftsküche, unpraktischer Raum-Zuschnitt, Doppelbett nur von einer Seite zugänglich, harte Matratze.
Regale, Ablagen, Steckdosen, Wasserkocher, Sitzgelegenheiten fehlen. Kaum Zimmerservice. Kein Frühstücksangebot.
