nothing i did not stay there because it was so bad
everything but especially the check in process as the person didn’t answer their phone after i called more than 5 times and desperately needed to get inside after driving 10 hours and i thought id been ripped off completely until they finally answered the phone on like my 10th attempt at calling them since i didn’t get an email or anything regarding check in and was solely relying on them answering the phone to gain access to the keys to get inside.
Everything
NOTHING
The staff member was lovely and patient.
Room was clean and comfortable.
One bathroom was clean.
The ladies shower-toilet was dirty and in desperate need of restoration.
Kitchen was messy.
Great
Nil
Beds dirty with hair and also dirty room
Cheap and value good, you get what you pay for.
Has TV and Netflix, and a sink in the room which is nice.
Amenities could be more inviting, vibes of a well-run-down hostel.
You have to call the host when you're at the property and she only answered after 10min which we had to wait in the rain, so I suggest to call earlier already to get you lockbox code.
Location was the main positive.
Its an old building and feels like a run down hostel. Shared showers were not great but there was hot water.
I enjoyed the friendly welcome I received yesterday. I was shown the facilities. My host was relaxed, chatting. I felt so good, after a long drive. The double bed room was far more spacious than I had ever expected. The bed was made with obvious care, the sheets were ironed, clean and comfortable. I was happy with the pillows and bedspread. I didn't use the TV but it was there. The free WiFi password was emailed previously, so connection was a breeze. I'm a restless sleeper at best, but I didn't hear anything from the street other than the steady rain.
I'll be back!
The Met is an older establishment. Having said that, very little concerned. I liked the little nooks you could relax in or have a quiet chat. Travelling around the world, this is rare.
