Pros:

We were there for a location wedding and it was very pleasant we booked a room while my brother-in-law booked another room for the same time the location was perfect and everything was great

Cons:

The beds could have been a little bit more comfortable other than that it was fine

Pros:

Room was clean. Great distance from Everglades National Park. Great wifi connection.

Cons:

Room was not soundproofed enough to handle noise from first floor restaurant. There was music blasting until midnight and you could hear kids shouting at one point. There was a coffee maker in the room but no filter and you had to buy the coffee.

Not so funky anymore

Quaint facility. Parking was easy and safe.

Cons:

We have stayed here years ago and enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately we are not same/sushi people so the restaurant in the hotel is not desirable. To us. I know we have had breakfast here before but not anymore. They used to have chairs out on the porch so you could sit out there and have a drink but the chairs are gone. We liked the funky aspect of the hotel but it’s not there anymore. It just seems wornout.

They booked a party on the balcony, right outside my sliding glass door to the balcony, even though they have a policy that they don’t allow such parties.
For 3 hours it was so loud and disruptive that I couldn’t even relax from my 320 trip.

Super Bett & großes Zimmer, leider sehr Schalldurchlässig
Pros:

Das Bett war super bequem, recht weiche Matratze und weiche Bettbezüge. Raum war größer als erwartet, bestand mehr oder weniger aus zwei Bereichen - Bett mit Bad und Sofa mit Fernseher plus Terrasse. Soweit sehr angenehm, Sauberkeit ebenfalls gut. Die „altmodische“ Einrichtung empfand ich als charmant, gefiel mir gut. Sehr gute Erreichbarkeit des Personals via Handy. Für eine Nacht wunderbar, die Nähe zu den Keys und Everglades ist super.

Cons:

Das Zimmer hatte eine Zwischentür (verschlossen) zum Nebenzimmer, allerdings ist diese Tür nicht „dicht“ bzw. sehr schalldurchlässig. Als wir abends im Bett lagen hörten wir den Fernseher und die Gespräche im Nebenzimmer wie als befänden sich die Nachbarn mit uns im Zimmer, wir konnten wirklich jedes Wort mit anhören. Die Türe muss auf jeden Fall abgedichtet oder ausgetauscht werden. Housekeeperin Christine war sehr gut erreichbar, das Zimmer ließ sich jedoch nicht wechseln, da das Hotel ausgebucht war. Das WLAN Passwort war leider nicht im Zimmer hinterlegt, das wäre vielleicht noch praktisch. Abends funktionierte das WLAN wunderbar, am nächsten Morgen bestand keine Verbindung mehr. War für uns nicht weiter schlimm da mobile Daten vorhanden waren, aber ggf. relevant für andere Gäste, daher der Hinweis.

Solange der Fernseher und die Gespräche der Nachbarn liefen war ans Einschlafen nicht zu denken, da das Nebenzimmer jedoch nicht immer zwingend belegt sein muss kann man Glück haben was das angeht, daher 7/10.

Nice place to crash for a good price
Pros:

Nice restaurant in the lower part , great food , music a bit to loud but it was on the weekend, nice parquink space , you can walk around that lovely town

I would not recommend this hotel based on our experience.
Pros:

no breakfast available, location was good. Housekeeper was pleasant.

Cons:

Amenities were lacking -- no hand towels, one tiny bar of soap, not enough toilet paper. We were in the bottom floor room by the kitchen and the closing staff was so loud -- screaming, etc, at 10-11pm

Pros:

Personal war nett, wollten mir aber nicht ein neues Zimmer geben.e

Cons:

Es war unglaublich laut, das Zimmer war in einem Restaurant hinter einer Bar, Betrieb ist a Wochenende dort bis 00:00 Uhr bedeutet bis dahin bekommt man keinen schlaf.
Zudem ist eine Tür ins Nachbarzimmer vorhanden, die ist leider so dünn das man den Zimmernachbar atmen hört.
