Modern and confortable stay near the Imperial legacy
Pros:

京都駅から地下鉄1本で行けて、駅直結のアクセスは高く評価できます。京都御所が目の前なので、自然と文化を味わいたい方におすすめです。
設備はシンプルですが、ハイアットグループの名にふさわしいモダンさと機能性を備ええており、快適な滞在ができました。
スタッフも明るく、丁寧に対応して下さいました。

Cons:

バスルームの水回りがひとつにまとめられているので、2人で使う時にやや不便を感じるかもしれません。
また、祇園や四条河原町といった京都の繁華街からは少し離れていることから、夜遊び派には不向きかも。

Great hotel at an excellent location --but may not worth the money
Pros:

1) Excellent ambience; Reception area has a lot of space with a variety of seating while waiting for check-in or waiting after check-out
2) Well-maintained and clean -a lot of seating options, including in the breakfast area
3) Room quality and the toilet are of great quality
4) Many good quality options for breakfast (see below for cons); well-maintained breakfast area
5) Amenity quality is great
6) Marutamachi subway station is just below the hotel; Bust stops are within 1 min walking distance from the hotel
7) The Kyoto garden and palace are nearby; there are a lot of restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance
8) Bed and pillows are comfortable
9) Heating in the room was good

Cons:

1) Fixed menu for breakfast. It makes it very boring for long-stays (beyond 2-3 days)
2) Very limited space for a hanger or to keep the dresses
3) Room size is small compared to the cost and compared to the Hyatt in other cities
4) Not worth the money, there may be a better hotel with a better view at the same price. The roadside room had no view except the road. On the other side of the street, there was ongoing construction
5) Expressionless reception staff... no smile on their face
6) Not all reception staff have the same knowledge. One reception staff (male) misguided me while I asked for directions to the subway lift and directed me the wrong way by showing the map.

Excellent place to stay
Pros:

Very exquisite property with all the amenities that travelers need. They will hold your luggage before and after check out.

Cons:

There was only three laundry machines that seems to be in use quite frequently, but there was two laundromats 4 blocks away that was faster and cheaper than the smaller ones at the hotel.

Good stay for families
Pros:

Hotel and the rooms were clean and nice. Location on a metro stop was helpful. Breakfast was nice.

Cons:

While the location is on a metro stop, it’s not very central. Many points are connected by bus which makes it a longer commute. Also no vegan/ vegetarian restaurants nearby or in the hotel.

Perfect stay for a work trip or a trip still central but away from tourist crowds.
Pros:

I was there for a work trip (conference) and this place had everything I needed for it. The location was good - it was a bit further away from the main touristy part, it was just above the subway, and close to buses and taxis - so that was good. The food was excellent, the staff were very helpful and polite, and the rooms were great and had everything you’d need in them - very clean, dark, and quiet too. Thank you all!

地下鉄出口からすぐでロケーションは良い。部屋も新しい。

まず、予約した自分の情報が文字化けして見えないと言われ、手書きで書かされた。中国人と間違われた。又、朝食抜きの予約だった。返信メールがきていたのに何故？またエレベーターのカードキーを翳すところが分かりにくい。さらにベッド、ゴミ箱、清掃等を指定しないとやらないことをフロントでは教えてくれず、不快な思いをした。朝食をフロントで追加してもらったのに、2日とも同じ質問で会場で呼び止められた。さらに3400円の値段が高いにもかかわらず、フルーツは無し、パンも硬く冷たい。レベル以下だ。

Pros:

お部屋やバスルーム、パウダールーム全てが広く、ソファー側のテーブル等々も使いやすくて居心地良かったです。
また、朝食がとても美味しかったです。

Cons:

ロビーでコーヒーのサービスを受けられたのですが、コーヒーメーカーの調子が悪いのか、選択していないのにエスプレッソで出てきたり、お湯しか出てこなかったり…で、せっかくのサービスを満喫できなかった点です。

京都は神社仏閣が多く、砂利道を多く歩くため、靴が砂埃で汚れやすいという特性が強いと思いますので、部屋に靴用のブラシやクロスが欲しい。

What an excellent hotel property in Kyoto!
Pros:

Excellent, friendly, helpful staff. I loved that laundry facility although the dryer function did not work well.
The coffee in the lobby was wonderful and the location next to the subway was ideal. Overall the property was excellent and the staff was as well.

Cons:

Everything was perfect.
