The Archie & Isidore Hotel

This was a great experience in a restored home. Bright and cozy and slept very well with ocean air

Owners thought of EVERYTHING! We loved all of the little touches they added to the room, and property - it really enhanced our stay!

This was a self check in hotel.

Great location to the National park, view of water out our window, comfortable and clean room.
We visited with two different housekeepers who were so friendly and knowledgeable.
The only downside was the breakfast area, which was a grab and go—-yogurt and granola bars ( maybe something else) coffee and tea. There was a toaster but no bread.

Lovely and well furnished property. Lots of thoughtful touches. Easy self-check in. Loved the hot tubs!

Comfortable, great wifi well located.

The room was very nice, with plenty of coffee and snacks. The price is high though, we paid close to what we paid for the Keltic Lodge.

This was a really nice property. They had a lot of extra things like treats in the room and a shared kitchen we weren’t expecting. Rooms were really nice. We were able to walk to several restaurants.

The Archie & Isidore has a lovely self-check-in system -- they text you to let you know when the room is ready and you find the key in your room. The hotel is right on the Cabot Trail and you can easily walk around town. Several restaurants are within an easy 5-to-10 minute drive, and casual dress is always appropriate. The Adirondack chairs on the front porch are a lovely spot to sit, sip a drink, and people-watch. Although we didn't use it, there's also a hot tub available. We thoroughly enjoyed the comfy bed, the quiet, and the fresh air. If you have time, be sure to stop by The Trois Pignons museum just up the road and learn about the hooked rug tradition of the Acadian area.

The room and surroundings capture a peacefulness. It’s a unique place to stay with a cozy room and lots of extras and upgrades that made you feel special. Worth the price to experience.

Breathtaking view, clean and well cared facility and the hot tub a plesant suprise! Highly recommended and will definitely come back!

This accommodation included every little detail that made it extra special. The host anticipates guest needs very well. We especially enjoyed access to the hot tubs, a great amount of towels and robes, the in-room coffee and snacks, the amenities in the main house, quality bath products. Our only feedback would be that a 10 AM check out is a little bit early compared to other properties, as is a 4 PM check in (however, the property manager allowed us an early check-in, so we were very happy with that after long travels.) We hope to stay again in the future, it was so so great!

Air con is very noisy, but road gets noisy early morning if you have windows open instead - the property supplies ear plugs which is a good effort

We had room 8 which is in a separate building behind the main house in the upstairs suite...it was lovely! Nice and clean and really nicely decorated with everything we needed for a comfortable nights rest! There are two hot tubs available for guests use eith plenty of towels in the room. We enjoyed the complimentary chocolate bars....thank you!

Exceeded expectations

The place was clean and well kept.
We never met any staff.

It's an ok hotel.

This was our getaway for our 25th wedding anniversary. We loved the outdoor hot tub. Nice comfortable robes provided. Even some complimentary snacks. We will be back.
