The room was clean.
DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. There was an issue with the thermostat. We could not get the temperature off of hot or cool. We tried to set the temperature to be comfortable at 72 for cool but it kept jumping back to 68. When we tried to warm it up the temperature again jumped to 68 and continuously ran. It was so hot. We called the front desk ( and she took 35 minutes to come) and even she commented how hot it was in the room. The front desk person went thru the same steps we did for over 20 minutes. Finally she said the thermostat will either be hot or cold at 68 and there is nothing I can do. When we asked about moving to another room she said that she could not because we had used the room. She did not offer to notify or call the hotel manager but told us we could wait until the morning and talk with the manager. We were paying $144 for one night. The front desk person offered no empathy, did not offer an apology and was condescending. Her solution was to stay in a room all night being uncomfortable. She had no customer service skills whatsoever in this instance. It is the responsibility of the hotel to ensure the client staying has (to the best of her abilities) is satisfied. We chose the hotel as it was in close proximity to the highway and relatively new. Needless to say we checked out and went to Hampton Inn a bit further down the road. We have been to many hotels and they were at least accommodating.
Didn't get eat too much breakfast very crowded had couple spoons of eggs for each of us that was it. The staff is great & we had very nice clean room. We've stayed there I think now 4 times very nice Hotel. Date of stay was 3/7/26 & 3/14/26 The 3/7/26 was great our problems was 3/14/26
You shouldn't put children on the 4th floor we had child above us they started jumping off the bed running back & forth across the room started at 10:00 p.m until lasted until almost 12 midnite.We didn't report thought it would be harder on us if the parents were upset over the complaint. We are in our 80"s & drove from Boston so we tried get in bed early due to another long day to get home Fairfield is our half way point going & coming would be staying there 6 times a year. I don't know have to think about it. Everything else was okay Forgot to advise we were on 4th floor but had to move the register above us was making a rattle noise constantly so we were moved to third floor. So I guess that was our fault that we asked to be moved. So it was either the rattle noise or the child above us.
