We (family of four) stayed at GRT from 25th to 27th December 2024. Probably our finest experience of a resort/hotel - and we have done quite a bit of traveling both in India and abroad. Everything was great - but what made our stay outstanding was the staff. Every staff member you came across anywhere, made you feel at home. They were super responsive any small thing you asked for and always with a smile. Earlier this month I had stayed in a much more expensive resort in Goa, and after that lackluster experience, this was a breath of fresh air.
Of course, the property itself is fantastic and in a beautiful location. I would recommend this place wholeheartedly to anyone who wants to have a great time.

Excellent food! The Traditional Kerala banana leaf meal overlooking the Wayanad hills was the highlight of the Stay. Special mention for Mr Vishnu in the Restaurant. The Magic show in the evening by Mr Jammu was a pleasant surprise for the Family

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this excellent resort where all the staff went that extra mile to make our stay perfect. Particular thanks to Albin for supporting my elderly mother and to Subash who ensured that all our needs were met. The restaurant staff were extremely helpful in accomodating to our dietary requirements. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. Everything in the resort was spotlessly clean. Highly recommended.

Taj Wayanad stands out as an exceptional property. Our two-day getaway was truly fantastic. Situated along the banks of a lake, the property is flanked by majestic mountains on the opposite side, creating a breathtaking backdrop for both sunrise and sunset views. The allure of the surroundings was so captivating that we could have easily extended our stay for another two days to savor the experience even more.

The property features a delightful bar adjacent to the pool, and the buffet spread offered a satisfying variety. The rooms were impeccably clean, and we chose accommodation in the main block. The view from our uppermost floor was truly remarkable.

In summary, I highly recommend Taj Wayanad; it exemplifies the renowned Taj brand and its commitment to hospitality excellence.

Everything from the welcome ritual, to the warmth of the staff, the quality of the food and the serenity and amenities of the property are all worth raving over.

The staff is an absolute breeze to work with. They go above and beyond to understand what you need to make your stay more enjoyable and fulfil it - no matter whether it is a special dietary need, an extra bed or a last minute room request. They have a WhatsApp number over which you can stay in contact with the reception desk for enquiries and all post-reservation bookings for trips in and around the Wayanad area.

The included breakfast features cuisines ranging from Continental, South Indian, North Indian, cereal bar and made to order omelettes, appams, dosas, Kerala parottas etc.

The dinner buffet features a spread of dishes from all over India and the world - from Paneer Makhani, Meen Vattichathu, Singapore Chilli Crab and Garlic Shrimp to Parippu payasam, Kozhikode Halwa, Pista Ice cream and Gulab Jamun.

Another specialty about this resort is the evening 'hi-tea'. It features a Kerala style roadside 'Chayakada', where a 'Chayakadakaran' makes tea, coffee and offers Kerala-style snacks like Payampuri and sweets.

I highly recommend a visit here to anyone that wants to enjoy their stay in the Wayanad/Vythiri area.

The Property is new - the staff is excellent and well trained.
They genuinely care about the traveler and go out of their way to ensure we were comfortable.
