Honestly best value for money i have ever gotten. The bed was amazing, the room was super clean and the staff super friendly. Good food too!
You can hear the slamming of the doors closing, but I only noticed it because I had read it in reviews before. Honestly not that big of a deal and just wear earplugs :)
Clean and cosy place. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Access to balcony and rooftop terrace from where you can get a lovely view of Kathmandu and surrounding hills. Located in convenient place near major areas like Thamel, Newroad etc.

Value for money and good staff.
The location is a bit far from Thamel but it's a quiet street if you like.
The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. They would always exchange our money so we could have smaller bills for taxis or stored our luggage while we went hiking. Since we were there for a wedding, they even helped me wrap my Sari. The breakfast was good and the location was quiet, a bit further away from the hectic Thamel.
We stayed twice. The first time our room was great and we didn’t have any complaints. The second time the room was infested with bugs. But the staff was very helpful and immediately allowed us to change room several times (as there were bugs in the second room as well) until we got a good room again.
I had a wonderful stay at Wawa. I upgraded and the room was spacious, bright and comfortable. I appreciated the comfortable bed, that the water was always piping hot, one could choose between AC and opening a window, and a delicious breakfast could be enjoyed on the rooftop. The food overall was very tasty (choice of Nepali, Indian and western food) and I enjoyed all the meals I had from the restaurant at Wawa. In addition, the location is fantastic — very safe and walkable to Thamel and great cafes and restaurants while not being surrounded by tourists. And the staff were very kind and attentive, I appreciated them so much.
