The Tides

Rooms very great. Big, comfortable bed. Large bathroom with small touches like sensor lighting. The kitchen/living room were always clean and comfortable. Only negative, was a lack of kitchenware. For such a nice place, that seemed odd (like 3 non-matching glasses and well-overused pots and pans). Brenda at the desk downstairs was very helpful for us.

Tides is very conveniently situated a short walk to the beach, 5 min drive to downtown.

Place is cozy because it’s a smaller structure not a lot of guests at one time so can enjoy the pool, the amenities. Super close to the beach, about a 2-3 mins walk. Surrounded by restaurants, walkable shops and other entertainment. Very central location and easy to get taxis too. Great staff and very friendly! A big shoutout to Brenda! You’re fantastic!!!

The Tides location is 2 min. walking to the Grace Bay beach, room is very large with all the amenities, swimming pool right out side the patio, staff is very friendly.

Excellent apartment to stay in! It’s really close to the beach and just a 15-minute walk to the shopping center area. There is new construction next to the building that caused some early morning noise; however, this is beyond The Tides’ control. I would definitely stay here again.

The property was Very clean and the staff was kind and attentive. The walk to the beach is so close like 3minutes, and they have umbrellas and chairs for the hotel included at no cost. The cleaning staff was amazing as well, we came back from breakfast every day to a clean suite.

Rooms are one-bedroom apartment size, with plenty of space, big balcony, and in pristine condition. Needless to say, the location is prime.

My husband and I stayed at the tides for 5 nights. It’s a small hotel not too far from the beach, what they failed to mention is the large resort currently being built right behind the hotel blocking any view it may have had of said beach, not to mention the noise. Aside from the construction we were disappointed by the many repairs that needed to be done desperately such as the sliding glass doors to the patio that we had to fight with aggressively to open or close, the dryer that did not dry, the water pressure that was non-existent, and the dishwasher that was not anchored so that it weebled and wobbled freely. The staff was nice enough and the apartment was very spacious and I really don’t expect perfection, however I think the repairs are easy enough to get done because I have a feeling they won’t be around much longer if management doesn’t up their game especially now that they have to contend with the new resort going up next door.

Pretty good hotel but cleanliness is not the best. We saw a few roaches in our unit.
