The owners were wonderful, service and food were great, room was comfy, nice bathroom, grounds were lovely…so happy to have landed there, and if we ever are in the area again, will be sure to stay there!

Huge room, quiet and easy to find. Excellent breakfast, lovely and helpful staff and owners.
While I appreciated that they had mid century furniture in the room, I would have loved if the bedframe was reinforced. The frame broadcast to the next room every time we rolled over. This is a minor inconvenience.

Clean, quaint, convenient
We actually chose not to stay here and left early. In full transparency, we never called the owners to let them know we were disappointed in the accommodations.
Expedia needs to update how these accommodations work. The inn is made up of three different properties. Depending on the room you choose, you could be placed in a building across the street from the main inn.
We found ourselves in the Post Office. The inside was fine, but the outside needs updating: Duct tape on window screens and peeling paint. There was no one in the building, no lights on, and it felt like an inn that was closed for the season. Maybe we booked during down time, but the woman who checked us in gave us little information about the grounds and didn’t seem to know if there would be breakfast in the morning. We did receive a message through Expedia from the owners, but I didn’t see it until much later.
Our bathroom was down the hall and needed a separate key to enter. The bed was not
Comfortable, and our room overlooked a main street with much car noise. We tried to find the woman who checked us in to see if we could switch rooms, but couldn’t find anyone. Again, we didn’t call.
Everything was clean, but didn’t feel very comfortable or welcoming. It might be very different during the busy season or when the restaurant is open. Since we were only a few hours from home, we decided to leave and eat the money. I booked because of the exceptional reviews, but that wasn’t our experience.
The place was charming and immaculate. It was so tastefully decorated with all the amenities. Breakfast was delicious, modern cuisine. Jake and Caroline were so welcoming, friendly and accommodating. We intend to return for a whole weekend very soon.
