Das Zimmer war sehr gross und sehr sauber. Das Frühstück war ein Traum, alles sehr frisch zubereitet.
Hervorragendes Essen am Abend. Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit und hat uns viele Tipps für Ausflüge gegeben.

Die Kellnerinnen am Abend waren unaufmerksam
und nicht sehr freundlich.

Beautifully designed hotel in a charming town
Pros:

Such a gorgeous property, the design and construction that’s been used to respect the history of the space should be commended. The integration of the original brick and retention of the wine cellar are simply stunning. Beautiful common spaces and rooms. We were upgraded to a superior as we travelled for our honeymoon. It was very spacious, bed was fine. The service was fantastic, I messaged with the staff on WhatsApp before the stay to book in a wine tasting on-site and they made restaurant bookings on our behalf. As we had to leave early to make a flight to Madrid on the last day, they even prepared breakfast for us to have on the road.

Cons:

Briones is a gorgeous little town but not a huge amount to do. More facilities on site like a sauna or spa would be great. There is a gym and a terrace with a great view. Parking is challenging but also expected given its location.

Me parece imperdonable que no tengan una simple máquina de café en la habitación.

Comfort & style in a medieval village!
Pros:

This fabulous small hotel is located in the centre of a medieval village surrounded by the vineyards of La Rioja.
We found it easily on satnav and the parking was nearby and free although they do have some pay onsite parking if you prefer. Friendly and helpful welcome.
Our room was contemporary and very comfortable with far reaching views of the surrounding countryside.
This hotel maybe ‘boutique’ but doesn’t lack for facilities. Be sure to dine in their restaurant, we had a delicious dinner both nights of our stay. Not forgetting the great negronis in the comfortable lounge beforehand.
Breakfast is special. Served by charming staff - do not miss it!
Be sure to explore the lovely square and church just 2 minutes walk away.
Highly recommend this delightful and unique hotel.
