Maybe a place for someone else but not for us again.
Cons:

I did not think the staff friendly at all. Upon arrival we parked at the door to check in. They were not friendly or upbeat. I asked about the valet to park car a block away and they said didn’t have one. You park in a five story, old garage on floors 4-5. I would never go in alone. So, we waited 15-20 minutes for them to find a buggy to load our stuff and then let them “watch it” so we could go park. Room sparse. A king bed, small chair, and wardrobe. The room is dark, clock on the wall that doesn’t work and one small sink in bathroom. Shower was large but have to step in to back wall to turn on. No sliding doors. The worst thing was I hit the end of the footboard (about 14 inches high) and cut the heck out of my leg. Put four band-aides on it after stopping the bleeding and went to bed. Loud music half the night from somewhere on the street. But, I did sleep some. Then got husband to get a first aid kit or something downstairs. He said the lady was nice and gave him three big bandages. We put them on and left by 7:30 am. While downstairs waiting for him to get the car I mentioned I was the one that hurt my leg and she said “oh, I have done that before”. Not, I’m sorry, are you in pain etc…..

The Hotel lived up to the pics online. Very nice!
Pros:

Hotel had many amenities. Room was spacious. Staff was very friendly. We actually had an employee help us with our TV trying to locate the Super bowl. Breakfast was very nice. Parking was well within walking distance of Hotel. Easy in and out.

Cons:

Liked it all.

beautiful and interesting hotel. loved being downtown
Pros:

facility is great. loved the old facility and how it was updated. We had breakfast there but did not realize that dinner was available and we already had other reservations

Cons:

Parking situation was not the greatest as I was nervous about going to the car at night. Would advertise the kitchen more

Well located and very comfortable hotel for an overnight stopover stay.
Pros:

Very good provisions for room guests - the toiletries, teas, coffees etc; good quality linens. Overall very comfortable.

Cons:

Very noisy air conditioning.

We were happy with the stay and the surrounding area. I would absolutely recommend coming!
Pros:

I loved all of the copper and marble details throughout the hotel, it still had some original features from when it was a bank and I adored the fact that they kept those historical details. The view of the mountains from our room was so beautiful as well! Staff was friendly, and the hotel was relatively close to hiking trails. Amazing food nearby too!

Cons:

There was no continental breakfast, but they did have items for purchase downstairs in the lobby area and there are some restaurants/breakfast spots in the nearby area. Overall very pleased with everything!

We were there to say goodbye to my bonus Mom & the Liberty Trust made it a little bit more relaxing with its viewers

It was not only historical but the area was Bristol & e felt walking was safe & fun.

Wonderful hotel stay
Pros:

Wonderful hotel behind the train station. Walk to downtown Roanoke. Very clean and well decorated rooms. o comfortable. Will stay again when I need to take the train.

Will put it on a regular stays when traveling north/south off 220.
Pros:

A beautifully appointed property close to everything downtown. The room was clean and commodious!
