Expensive for a hotel of this standard
Pros:

Central location. Friendly check in

Cons:

You just get what you pay for, nothing special. Facilities are pretty limited. An ok bar area and that’s really it

Great location in a historic converted bank building.
Pros:

Nice rooms in a converted bank building. Great location in downtown Roanoke. Parking was offsite but convenient and reasonably priced.

Cons:

While the bank lobby ambience is good, breakfast was disappointing and I would suggest going out instead. Part of this may have been a staffing issue, as one individual had to cook and take orders.

20's style stay.
Pros:

The lobby restaurant had a great atmosphere, but most seating was more sofa/chair cocktail than meal friendly. But the apps we tried were very good. Our room featured a "classic queen"which we decided was code for a full size. Check in can be a little tricky if you have much luggage. There is a high curb. Parking is across the street. Very nice staff. Decor was interesting and fit the building perfectly.

Don't miss this gem of a beaux arts hotel--it is perfect.
Pros:

3 Art friends spent a wonderful overnight at the Liberty Trust. Thebeaux a design and beauty of this gem is beyond compare. The marble, carvings, vault and bar are gorgeous--representative of the best of beaux arts architecture. We had a lovely welcome at the reception and found all staff to be so helpful. We each had a single and all were very satisfied. WE enjoyed an appetizer and drink and then had small plates in the lounge as we had a packed day and enjoyed relaxing at the hotel for the evening. They held our bags after checkout so we could continue some shopping and walking. We plan to stay there again. For museum goers, the Taubman is a marvelous museum--surprising number of excellent exhibitions for a regional museum. A+ all around.

Charming experience- not just a chain hotel!
Pros:

The historic charm was wonderful! You could truly envision what it must have been like years ago when it was an active bank!

Unique and beautiful hotel
Pros:

The Liberty Trust is located in a perfect spot if you are traveling south and need a unique stopover. The atmosphere is nostalgic as you feel as if you are walking into a beautiful vintage bank. The rooms are spacious and beautifully appointed. Gorgeous showers, clean and shiny with copper accents everywhere. You are right in the city but the noise level is zero. The bar and restaurant is very comfortable and everything we had was delicious. Great and friendly service. Morning breakfast is a must! Great value!

Great hotel in the heart of downtown
Pros:

Wonderful hotel. First time visiting although I had walked past the hotel in past.
Great restoration of a circa 1920’s bank building . Retained all the key historical parts and added modern features.
The room was large and well appointed. The hallway room doors are brass trimmed which looks great. A nice touch is art from the Taubman museum in the lobby and floor lobbies.
Great view of the railway and other Roanoke sites and even a view of the mountains.
Did not try the restaurant but did have a cocktail and dessert at the bar which were very good.
Conveniently located in the heart of downtown. Parking is a very short walk away and overnight parking with in and out privileges at $8 is a steal.
Highly recommend.
