Amazing staff, extremely clean, and a great escape from all the tourists and noise.
Pros:

I really enjoyed my stay, it was the perfect place to relax during my stay in Nara. The staff are extremely friendly and warm. They really make you feel welcome. As far as the room, it was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Although the hotel has limited facilities, there is a nice restaurant next door and a grocery/gift shop attached. Being at the base of small mountains, the surrounding area is surrounded by small farms and is very beautiful. I will definitely stay here again! Arigato!

Cons:

The location is outside the center of Nara, but thats also the charm, especially if your focus is daytime excursions or if you have a car. The train itself is quick, just need to schedule your departures. Luckily the hotel has a shuttle to and from until evening or $10 by taxi. More English channels please.

部屋にシャワーしかなく、ベッドの高さが高すぎ、枕の高さも高すぎました。ホテルに大浴場がないのも残念でした。
全体に外国人仕様のホテルのようで、高齢の日本人がゆったり過ごすことはできませんでした。
