Lovely Hotel let down by an independently run restaurant

Tried to book room service breakfast after a nasty fall No pick up during half an hour of calling them My husband went down personally to order some food and they refused saying the kitchen was closing There was no room service for the rest of the day as it was Sunday Although advertised on the web site that there was a Bar, we were refused service. We were told that the restaurant now runs this area and they were too busy My daughter also tried to arrange for some drinks and was also turned away Each encounter we experienced with the Restaurant was met with blatant rudeness and disinterest Outside patrons not staying in the hotel were greeted warmly. As the hotel is outside of the main entertainment precinct it is even more important that there is some sort of F&B service. With an injury, snow and ice outside, it would have been lovely to have been looked after at the Hotel
