I really enjoyed the stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Not much English though. Breakfast was plentiful with fruit, toast, eggs, coffee, etc.

Cons:

Room was tight, as was the bathroom. No place for luggage. No air-conditioning so windows had to be open which allowed the street noises and barking dogs making a sound sleep impossible.

Agradable para conocer Cerro Alegre desde su corazón.
Pros:

La ubicación en el corazón de Valparaíso, Cerro Alegre. Con una vista maravillosa a la bahía, habitaciones cómodas con todo lo necesario para tener un momento de relajo. El desayuno sencillo pero exquisito.

Cons:

Se está quedando a la antigua, necesita renovarse, instalar A/C en las habitaciones y no dejar solamente un ventilador. No es un hotel barato como para caerse con esos detalles.

falta pasamano en escala, para los muchacos como yo, con algun tipo de discapacidad {Pk}. Por otro lado, de limpiapiez, que no esta a nivel con el piso del edificio.
En un momento dado, la persona a cargo de recepcion, se vio superada y quedo la recepcion sin recepcionista. Nosotros estabamos en el salon del primer piso.
Ante los insistentes llamados para ingresar al hotel, mi Sra fue a abrir la puerta. Tropezó con el limpiapie y se fue contra la puerta, golpendose la muñeca de mano derecha. Consecuencia,...quebradura....yeso para inmovilizar Codo y muñeca.

Sus espacios y rincones con tantos detalles. La vista de la terraza, el baño de la habitación.

Cons:

Deberían considerar cambiar el colchón. Es la segunda vez que me hospedo en casablu y los colchones parecieran tener mucho uso (son demasiado blandos).

Otro punto: en la mañana, había mucho ruido por parte del personal de aseo.

Perfect location away from the port but still walking distance to everything! Super cool street to be on as well.
Pros:

Loved the historical aspects of the hotel, the interesting artwork, the fantastic fresh breakfast, the friendly and accomodating staff and most impressively the 3rd floor sunroom where we spent late afternoon watching port activities and reading!

A good choice in Valparaiso.
Pros:

It was well-appointed in Cerro Alegre in the old Unesco Heritage part of town. The rooms were spacious and clean and the beds comfortable. The area was very convenient for Chilean/Valparaisan local restaurants and we loved one called Maleza Valparaiso which served local cuisine. The breakfast was tasty and adequate. The staff was helpful and friendly.

Bel Hôtel, bel emplacement, chambre sous les toits inadaptée pour le sommeil.

Très joli hôtel, chic, magnifiques espaces communs, belle vue sur la baie de Valparaiso.

Cons:

Chambre 12 sous les toits, il fait une chaleur étouffante dans la chambre, impossible de créer de l’air en ouvrant les fenêtres, d’autant qu’il y avait une soirée techno très bruyante dans la ville et pas de volets aux fenêtres. Un ventilateur est mis à disposition mais très bruyant également.
