Spacious room, nice hotel but receptionist attitude can be better
Pros:

The room type we originally reserved was unavailable upon arrival at 6:00pm, however we were kindly upgraded to a larger room at no additional cost. The upgraded room was spacious, well-equipped, and very comfortable.

Cons:

We arrived at the check in counter at around 2:00pm prior to the official check-in time. We hoped to check whether early check-in might be available or alternatively, to store our luggage before heading out. Upon arrival, I presented our passports and informed the receptionist of our one-night reservation. She requested the booking reference number, which I retrieved from my Booking.com app and provided. However, she did not look at it and asked us to present the booking reference again when we returned at official check-in time. We then left our luggage at the hotel.

Shortly afterward, three other groups of guests in the queue also requested check-in and were all promptly issued their room keys. These included a couple staying for 3 nights, two Japanese guests staying for one night, and a Taiwanese guest staying for one night. While I understand that early check-in is subject to availabilty and at the hotel's discretion, I believe the situation could have been handled more professionally. A clearer explanation for the difference in treatment, along with a more courteous approach, would have been appreciated.

The hotel is about 600 meter away from Gongdeok Station and its an uncovered path. There are buses to Incheon Airport just cross the road though.

Comfortable and convenient with lots to see and do around the area
Pros:

We were conveniently located between Mapo and Gongdeok stations, which made it so easy to move about Seoul. The room was clean and well laid out which made for a comfortable 9 night stay. Will definitely stay here again.

Friendly staff, lovely, made my day.
Pros:

Staff was extremely helpful. We were able to drop our luggage off early and head out for a walk. Check-in and check-out process were quick. We’ve booked a standard double room but was upgraded to a premium room instead. The room was spacious and we loved it. Wished we could stay a little longer but will definitely be back here the next time we’re back in Seoul.

Le petit déjeuner est strict pour les Européens, il y a un plat unique à choisir. Si vous souhaitez un petit déjeuner continental pas de buffet pas de café à volonté. à choisir entre café et jus d’orange. le service désagréable.

Pros:

ロケーションも良く、少し歩くと飲食店やオリーブヤングなどもあり非常に助かりました！
ホテル内はお部屋も含めて凄く清潔で、ホテルに居るだけでも気分が上がりました！
ペットボトルでの水の提供や、コーヒーマシンも無料利用ができ、非常に満足度が高い宿泊になりました！
スタッフさんも母国語以外に日本語と英語を話されていて、本当に素晴らしいと感心しました。

特に悪い点はないです！また利用したいと思います！

Revisit Desired
Pros:

Quite convenient location close to 2 major subway lines and the stop for Limousine Airport Bus station. Backstreets are dotted with neighborhood restaurants, which in my view have more of the local vibes than touristy vibes (although there is nothing wrong with touristy .. ).

The reception staff was professional and easy to communicate.

No in-room laundry service but its laundry room was clean, safe and easy to use.

The hallway seemed quieter than other hotels from the inside of my room. Perhaps the establishment is better soundproofed .. ?! So nice ~

*Just want to shoutout to its management regarding the excellent Saturday cleaning staff during my 2 week stay. She was so thorough and a delightful perfection. Thank you for that especially!!

Cons:

The cleaning staff on weekdays during my stay was unfortunately not too thorough with some of the tasks. The shower drain missed care and as a result the shower floor was slow to drain and collected too much water while showering. A bit unpleasant ..
