Все отлично .
Breakfast and dinner were exceptional Our bed
We actually ate in most nights as we enjoyed it so much
We did find the tables awkward for eating at
Our bed was uncomfortable / felt like it was lop sided and mattress needed replacing
I also add laundry done and many of my shirts came back with grease ( black ) stains
Almost like mould or stains from the washing machine
Tables in bar
Awkward height compared to seating
An amazing property in the city center. Beautiful, boutique feeling, incredible interior design and great service.
The service is impeccable and a major reason we returned to this beautiful hotel. It’s on a busy street yes but quiet inside with stunning views of the castle & a great location for walking in Edinburgh.
The turn down service made us feel as if we had our own butler.
Superb cocktails and delicious breakfast. The porridge with cream and whiskey is a must-try and another big reason we returned !
No tea and coffee facility in rooms & room service not available until 10.30am & finishes at 10.30pm so not able to have a tea first thing or last thing at night without going to the bar.
Also as others have said the tables in the bar area are attractive but very awkward for sitting at for drinks/breakfast.
These are minor points but my reason to not give full marks. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
Decorated in the Scottish tartan style just stopping short of camp (my kind of place). Great breakfasts meaning lots of choices as well as outstanding service. Not buffer. À la carte
My room was quite small with a low ceiling. But then I got used to it and welcomed the coziness Had a great view and lots of light which made up for the space. Only one elevator which was super tight.
The furnishings were lovely and the decor beautiful.
The room was far too small and cramped. Unlike other hotels on my trip, I was billed a separate service charge (tip) of 20 pounds per night included in the printed invoice making it awkward to ask for it to be removed.
