Sailors Beach Fiji

The hotel staff should clean the bathrooms in the restaurant area properly, the toilets are disgusting and had sh*t stains all over the pan. The amount of money we spend at this place, they should at least clean the toilets....the rooms are infested with cockroaches, mould in shower, stains on bedsheets, no floor mats provided, we need to request towels once checked in room....the manager of this place needs to be fired, doesn't seem like hes doing a good job.

very basic. Bathroom was quite bad as was the water pressure. Towels were stained and i did not use them. Probably more a backpackers place. the overall room conditions and bed linen could be better.

Water seemed to have trouble getting to the top floor, after two showers we had to wait about 10mims for water to come back for a shower.
The extraction fans from the restaurant have a noticeable hum.

There is no parking for guest and breakfast was not up to expectation.

The nightclub was just below us and we had an early start in the morning, so the noise was a bit of an issue. It didn't go on too late though. We were close to other venues so we able to watch a show at another hotel at night and on the beach. The beach was clean and nice for an evening walk. The pool looked beautiful and clean, however, we did not swim as it was too cold for us.

Our stay was extremely disappointing and fell well below the standard advertised.

From the moment we checked in, it became apparent that the focus of the establishment was on collecting additional fees rather than providing a welcoming guest experience. We were required to pay a FJD 100 security deposit, which was never mentioned in the booking confirmation or on the website. So we refused to pay the deposit.
Our arrival experience was equally disappointing- no warm welcome from the staff, no help with luggage.
When we entered our room, it looked nothing like the images advertised online. The room itself was a significant letdown.

The advertised "ocean view" was also misleading. Instead of a clear view of the ocean, we were faced with the roofs of two blue buildings, with only a distant glimpse of the water beyond them.

On our second morning, there was no running water in our room. When we reported the issue, we were informed that the maintenance staff were filling the swimming pool, which meant there was no water available for guests. This was both surprising and unacceptable.

Housekeeping was another major disappointment. Throughout our stay, our room was never restocked with basic amenities such as coffee, tea, sugar, or milk. We had to go to reception every day and evening to request these items. On our third morning, at approximately 6:30 a.m., we were told that the kitchen staff did not start until 7:00 a.m., so we could not even obtain milk or sugar for our coffee.

The towel service was equally inconvenient. If we wanted fresh towels, we were expected to carry our used towels downstairs and exchange them ourselves. Staff made no effort to collect or replace them in our room. It was only after we raised our concerns that clean towels were finally delivered to our room on the second-to-last day of our stay.
